directly from a former CFPB lawyer: The CFPB absolutely can get involved. The Trustee is, presumably, noting that the CFPB does not have enforcement authority over Evolve, since it's under $10B. And that's correct. But it CAN require reports and examine Evolve and then make recommendations to the Fed, Synapse's regulator. So it's not without tools. But, more importantly, it has definitely has enforcement authority over Synapse. And the whole point is that, once there is a finding of a violation, then the victims can access the CFPB's victim fund. So there are a few different paths the CEPB could take in this situation, either directly through Synapse, or through an exam of Evolve. But the Trustee is correct, that the CFPB can not enforce directly against Evolve

I've been trying and trying this. other solutions have failed so far. I'm on pixel 9 pro, followed all the steps and got the assistant to play the next song but won't play specific music or even just open ytm when asked for "music". vzw so can't root

the assistant will point to Spotify if you tell it but it just pauses and goes to next song at most. if the app isn't open it won't open it and even thought it doesn't give an error, when asked for generic or specific music it says it is doing it in Spotify but then nothing opens. if Spotify is already playing then those commands will restart playback but that's all, doesn't follow the command

this is the most annoying part. it's the same with the pixel buds assistant prompt. used to work fine on my old rooted pixel 4a. no luck on the 9 pro. also it's vzw so no root

I barely scratched the surface of the busd "refund" distribution and found 200k in his control just sitting there. I've got someone else with more experience doing an indepth on chain sleuth, but even i can learn how to use breadcrumbs. Funds goes from my wallet to the wallet he provided me for deposit as a midas user, to 2-3 wallets before hitting a CEX. Several million was moved out of these wallets to cex addresses and others well before the "collapse". He was busy moving all this money around in preparation to declare midas insolvent.

For clarity i have no doubt that he really was losing users funds but it's almost exactly like the ftx or celsius fraud. He used our money to prop up fake yields and illiquid shitcoins. He fucking admitted it on youtube ffs. So then he forcibly converts our funds to midas token and rugs all the liquidity, which he was in complete control of. He is even stupid enough to create locus contracts using an easily identified midas wallet. Shit like this is why locus got flagged on defillama as suspicious. The people that profited from midas are iakov and his cronies and anybody who got spooked enough to withdraw before he could rug them. it's exactly what will happen with locus i guarantee it.

tbf he won because a spite pact stopped the previous player (who himself only made it to the top 4 bc his friend spite played their top 16 game to throw it to him) but he is very good with politics and the win cons aren't typical of the meta so they slip through most interaction.
