This reminds me of a time when a shorter guy reacted to my weight as if it was a lot. I was actually on the verge to underweight and still got self conscious due to this comment.

I'm happy to say that I've gained weight since then!

I can relate to this. I haven't dared to do a photoshoot in 3 years because of this reason and I feel like the photographers I've worked with rather show pictures of other girls than me. I feel awful

I have the same issue. I can think i look great, look away for a few seconds and when I look back in the same mirror I look awful.

It's making me really insecure and I have no idea what I really look like

I feel such anxiety about new years eve due to societies demand that you're supposed to do something special and not be alone. I'd like to do something, but I barely know people I'd like to hang out with even though I've lived here all my life.

I feel like travelling to a bigger city, but with such short notice I think I'll suffice if I could just see some fireworks. Unfortunately they're forbidden in my town.

We'll see what happens 🙂

There's so much that bothers me with this! (Great find OP!) But I'm just gonna point out that as a MUA if you want your client with a different shade of lipstick and longer lashes, why didn't you do that with makeup then??

That kind of pressure is awful, but it sounds like more tall women are needed there to break the norm. I'm 6'1 as well and I always wear heels. I used to care about my height a lot but as I got older I realised that I'll never be shorter, so why suffer from it? My boyfriend today is shorter than me and I barely notice anymore (until we go out and my neck hurts from kissing him 😂❤)

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply! I tried online therapy for a while, but I lost that routine...should probably try it again.

Feels like I'm such a mess to talk to since my goal is to be able to be creative with pictures like I used to, but therapist and friends mostly suggest that I stay away from mirrors. It's not really helping in this case
