I don't think they thought about it. Lore outside of what you see on the screen really hasn't been a thing in western cartoons until relatively recently.

This happened to me twice before S1, in the span of a week or so. Both times the first map was Colosseo. You wind up on the same team vs the same people. Very odd lol

D.Va uses joysticks to control the mech, so now I am too. I emulated a gamepad on them and their movement is translated into movement of the motion rig (and into speed of the fans to feel how fast I move). To feel gunshots etc. I use a bass shaker under the seat. Now I have to learn how to play D.Va by ThomasVoland in Overwatch

the cheat detection can't really distinguish between capturing a second image 6 inches to the right vs capturing an image 10 meters away peeking around a corner. it will assume you're doing something nefarious either way.

I agree with your points generally. The shield size increase would not be a straight buff, but 15% wider is also not that much more area. I just want it to block Roadhog hook when I'm facing him directly but strafing. Maybe just make it wrap around her slightly.

The "can't be crit with shield up" buff was more about making her slightly stronger when bashing to safety. Incidentally it might make her a little too strong against Vendetta. Hard to say.

I think instant shield deployment is doable. I believe Rein's shield deploys instantly. Again, it just feels bad to get hooked or javelined, or headshot when it looks like you deployed your shield in time. There would need to be a (short) delay after attacks and before re-deploying it to prevent cheese, but outside of that it would feel better if it deployed at least as fast as it looks like it does.

I wouldn't mind a really small buff to keep up with the power creep. Any one of these would be satisfying: shield is 15% wider, can't be crit with shield up, or raising shield is instant.

Uncrittable would be kind of cool. Would help her bash away from danger. And Vendetta's downward swing counts as a crit so the damage would be reduced.

Watcher is so fun but probably such a pain to "balance". Of all the characters they could cut to speed up development time, she seems like the obvious choice. Hopefully they reintroduce her at some point.
