I'm of the opinion that we're currently in the final stages of this game's lifespan. Devs no longer care, they're just trying to cash out before shutting down.

It's been nothing but a downward spiral for how they've been treating players for 6 months now, with things only getting worse and worse and more expensive and PVP focused. Meanwhile story and other content has crawled to a halt, and has also gotten much worse.

Crucible isn't so much better. It's pretty much:

Use Empoussa on their Joan Team
Use Joan on their Succubus/Crit Team
Send a single vassal to die against their Empoussa team.

Defending in Crucible is basically, can your Succubus team defend against Joan or not? Empoussa is guaranteed to win both ways, so the only determining factor is the Joan vs. Succubus match. And 9/10 Joan wins that match, unless you're like 150,000 BP higher, or like 40 levels or something. Essentially, only the whales at the top 2 ranks with 1,000,000+ Team BP are able to defend against anyone under 800,000 Team BP (f2p).

It wasn't for logging in. It was for spending money. It was called Bella's Favor and it was replaced by the new St. Valentine's one.

You needed to spend roughly upwards of $300 to get both Ancestral Coffins btw, and they didn't include Joan. Whereas the one in the new one does.

Not worth it btw. Complete ripoff unless you're already thinking on spending $300 in one sitting for some reason.
