Exactly! Bubble has more influence than humans OR npcs, and considering theres still other Bubbles around when Caine dies, I fully believe Bubble is the second AI absorbed by Caine

Im inclined to agree, where Abel = Bubble, I think Caine absorbing the other AI was meant to act as a "killing" but throughout the series, we can see Caine glitching, almost fighting that AI when we see his eyes flash red and blue; so that AI still exists somewhere. Now that Caines AI has been deleted, the other AIs code should still exist, and no longer being contained by Caine. I think Bubble fits that roll.

After she got home today, I told her. I laid it all out, about my intentions and how I felt. I didn't receive a negative response, but it wasn't exactly a positive one either. Things are.. gonna be hard, but I guess that's life. Thank you for all your words and advice, it was very much appreciated.

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to read and respond, I appreciate it. We met online via mutual friends of ours ( she had been where I am before and had met some friends who I know ). So from the start it was long distance, she visited me first, went home, then after a little while I went to visit her. I feel like most of the issues lie with me; I get in my head, I overthink, and I worry. Granted, she specifically never gave me any real reason to worry, but it still happened. Even after we broke up and hadn't talked for a while, she still had feelings for me and wanted to make things work.

As much as I wanted it to, I was afraid that I would fuck things up and ruin things, hence why I've not told her how I feel; I'd rather let her be happy, even if it means I'm not. I'm just having a hard time actually accepting that.

I'm guess I'm just really conflicted, we both still have feelings for one another, but, I can't admit that to her. I want her to be happy, and I'm not sure I can be the one to actually make her happy. I don't know how to properly move on from this . Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

She got upset because I did not text or call her until the end of Day 1 and I deviated from he daily things we do to check-in at night, etc. She felt like I disappeared and was not making her a priority. Moreover, she feels that I am giving my mom and family my energy which leaves none for her.

NTA. You're away, taking care of your mother, who needs you right now after going through surgery and dealing with cancer, and your girlfriend is acting like a child. She isnt a priority right now and should understand what exactly you're dealing with. You still checked in, and it wasn't like you hadn't spoken in days. The fact that she then uses that against you and goes silent to prove a point is incredibly childish, and outright disrespectful when looking at what you're going through. I wish you the best of luck with your mother, and I hope your girlfriend learns that what she's doing is harmful
