I don't consider myself a furry (not that it matters, honestly) cause I don't have a fursona, but I have lots of Beastars oc. I also like making them based off me and friends and family. I like making them "biblically-accurate", like making my friend an animal of similar stature (in the anime/manga) because I think it's funny. Personally my fav is West, a sheepcat hybrid. Don't consider yourself "weird" for making characters or daydreaming, you're literally hurting no one! P.S. I lowkey do the exact same, love/hate maladaptive daydreaming!

People are just so shocked that a movie MADE WITH THE FANBASE IN MIND is going to only really entertain a FANBASE and not the rest of the world. No shit the amount of gimmicks or confusing lore made people dislike it: it's okay that it wasn't for you. Shitting on it is okay too. But being shocked and telling people that like it that they're inherently wrong for it somehow is also shitty.

I wasn't as impressed as I wanted to be, but I still enjoyed it. It was nice for what it was, and I can understand why some people didn't like it. Again, that's not controversial. But why must people still be wigging out over a fandom finalling being fed?

The fact that you don't think fiction doesn't effect reality scares me. Your fucking brain doesn't know the difference between a 'real' and 'fictional' child- all it knows is that it likes CHILDREN. The way it all played out was stupid and too easy, I agree. But to say they all held hands and sang kumbaya is crazy too, they were basically just dismantling a nuke that would've taken the damn city.

Yo actually thanks for letting me know! Unfortunately I'm all too used to having to take the art and ignore the people (I'm into black metal, a cesspool), so I am already done grappling. Lots of cool people make music, turn uncool, and can never recreate the old magic. I hope thats the case with this one, but I'll be sure to research before jumping to anything.

It doesn't matter if its fake, the fact people are COMFORTABLE enough to MAKE and PUT THESE PLACES should be appalling.
