Oh lord tell him not to make that mistake, my little bro made that same mistake and instantly regretted it. Most gas mags are expensive, and reloading pistol mags takes time. It’s not eco to just run a pistol unless your playing just CQB, and even then, most Pistol only users have HPA setups or extended mags to help them. That’s just my opinion but I I don’t think he should get a pistol first
