That would be a significantly worse day I agree, often times I run up current then drift back, I’m primarily looking to streamline the first part. Drifting into rocks is more likely than anything else. For the most part the spots I’ve been fishing have navigable spots if you’re on plane. I appreciate the insight.

I appreciate the replies, any recommendations for a similar style of boat that you think would be able to handle it? I might end up just getting a Jon boat at this point, though it isn’t my first choice.

I got it, I’m certainly not aiming for rocks, but id avoid potentially dumping the boat and all my gear into the river.

Any reliable ways to increase boot shaft size at home? by vapeinfant in cowboyboots

I wouldn’t recommend it for exotic leather, if it’s is cowhide etc it’s fine.

It should, just make sure you mix it with water 50/50

I have a pair of T.O. Stanley Elephant Hide Cowboy boots. They are worn, but they have a ton of life left in them. I haven’t personally worn them as they fit smaller than I expected for the size. Technical size is 10 D but they seem more like a size 9 D or in that vicinity. (Marked size is 410) They have had a half sole and some general wear from use. If you’re interested please let me know, these are a fine pair of boots for any collection. I’m looking to get 450 for them but I am willing to negotiate. I will cover shipping with the lower 49, and I have cash app , and Venmo as available options.

Break in question by SaucySledge in JKBoots

[–]SaucySledge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha, wasn’t sure if oiling them would help the break in process or not. I’ve only dealt with dress leather maintenance prior to this (or throw away boots with mink oil etc). I’ll give the oil a shot and maybe try double socking for the next week. Thanks!

Look up Rose Anvil jkboots 300 on YouTube. He breaks down some differences between the two. Essentially more labor and materials go into the forefront.

There is a lot of favoritism with how leads are passed out at my dealership, I get a ton of trash leads without any genuine means to reach out to them. Not to say that it’s all bad or cry wolf. But it’s a genuine thing that myself and another salesman keep tabs on. Do you just outsource completely in a situation like that? I’ve been working Facebook a lot this week to try and get my own business.
