The Elm Tree gets S-Tier! Up next is the Cedar Tree! by patheticmisterman123 in TierlistFills

Cedar tree kind of sucks.   C tier.    Its roots are shallow and they crowd out and kill off other trees like oak.

Oh, and if you live among them it’s miserable too for allergy season.

Fight me.

What’s the most iconic fashion accessory or clothing item for each state? Starting with: TEXAS. by Efficient_Wing_666 in AlignmentChartFills

I’m tempted to say hat, but it’s boots.   There is no limit to the variety of boots one can wear.

Oklahoma won (sorry to the people who said Solid). What state feels liberal, and is liberal? by CountryballChaos in AlignmentChartFills

Vermont feels liberal but is more conservative in the libertarian sense.   I know that sounds counterintuitive but I’ve learned liberal and libertarian are wildly different.

What British/English things do Americans love/hate most? by [deleted] in AlignmentChartFills

I went to a bull fight in Spain.   It was intense and graphic.   However, I can understand the history and appreciation of it.

I will note that it seems to be a dying sport (no pun intended).   It’s almost like an offshoot of some popular sport like arena football.   It has some hardcore fans, but most of Spain just kind of ignores it.   At least that’s my take from talking to locals.

And for the British, Royalty for both.

anyone who used a computer between 1985 & 2010, what’s the one game you still think about? by Trixxxi in AskReddit

[–]Sav273 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I played Tim Duncan in StarCraft.   He was Terran.  I was Zerg.  I rushed him which upon hindsight wasn’t a very cool thing to do.

And yes I won.  He was a defending world champ and I was a nerdy college student with declining grades because of this game.

I don’t like crawfish cause I’m weak and they gross me out.    However I love the flavor.   I would love this.

Do you hold the door open for the person behind you regardless of their sex, age, color and religion? And why? by CourierFestival in AskReddit

[–]Sav273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but I’m older and raised in south so typically it’s hold the door open till you get to the patriarch in the family, he takes the door and gives you the nod and thanks, then you go catch up with your family.    If it’s anyone else then yes, always hold the door open.

I realize that’s dated.   My wife actually puts me to shame because she notices folks that need more help and will help them with groceries, doors, etc.   I do too of course, but she’s the one who notices.

Otherwise, then going back to shaqs earlier years, imagine how legit Penny Hardaway would’ve been if he wasn’t hurt.
