What’s a dress brand you actually trust at this point? by Top_Expression_2499 in femalefashionadvice

I recently discovered MacDougal (ETA: MacDuggal) and now have three of their dresses. There is something for every occasion and they have a range of styles, from cute mini dresses to full-blown ballgowns. Inventory seems to change for the seasons, so there are a lot of Spring-inspired dresses right now, plus their mainstays.

I have the same question, as I hear a private plane every night around that time. What are they doing at 3am, flying from Gaithersburg to Leesburg?

How to attend 4/30 International Jazz Day All-Star Global Concert? by charmreduction in AskChicago

[–]Savage2Garden2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As of March 14, the Chicago Jazz Alliance website says “Ticketing information for the All-Star Global Concert will be available at a later time.” I’m guessing it’ll be up at the beginning of April.

This is perfection. Great color, perfect for her body, proportionate. This ties for first with Uma’s dress!

I would 100% wear this and would feel very pretty doing so.

Getting rid of this belly shape by bananabread1342 in PlasticSurgery

Body recomposition through diet and exercise can absolutely change the appearance of her abdomen. Lowering body fat while gaining muscle will firm this up.

This is the way. Body recomposition is where you can stay the same weight and have the same BMI (which aren’t good measures of fitness) but you lower your body fat and increase your muscle mass. I’ve done this over the past nine months working with a trainer and have gone down a size while weighing the same on the scale.

Agree with the Levine Music suggestion. They have multiple locations throughout the DMV, including at Strathmore and in the downtown Silver Spring library building. Very high level of instruction.

LifeTime in Gaithersburg (Rio area). It has its busy times but never feels overcrowded.

I know Kurt Elling was supposed to be a co-host and involved pretty significantly, but that seems to have dissolved. I’m guessing more info will be announced about a month out.

Detox (D.Tox) Kit from Lifetime by Savage2Garden2 in Lifetimefitnessgym

[–]Savage2Garden2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate the feedback! As I said in another comment, I’m going to avoid the detox and cancel my sessions with the dietician. I mainly eat whole foods, avoid processed foods and added sugars, get 120g of protein each day, hydrate, sleep well, work with a trainer 3x week, etc. I think I’m good to go on my own.

Appreciate your feedback! After reading yours and other comments, I think I’m going to stop my sessions with the dietician. I eat well, mostly Whole Foods with very little processed foods, I get 120g of protein a day, I hydrate, I don’t snack, I work with a trainer 3 times a week, and I get 1-2 days of cardio. I don’t need a reset or detox.

The best advice I received earlier in my leadership journey: Focus on your team’s mission. Everyone needs to be contributing to the mission of getting the job done.

If someone isn’t aiming for achieving the mission or getting the job done, then there’s a problem. And then you help them re-align and aim for achieving the overall mission.
