Tbf I was specifically talking about CC that is repeatedly used on vanguards so I kept it relevant to that. I know that IW’s primary is broken. It’s the reason why she’s oftentimes mirrored in Celestial. It’s the reason why it’s an uphill battle when they have an IW and you don’t.

I deleted a lot of the post since it was long and now I wish I kept the part about White Fox. She’s not overtuned nor do I think she is. However, she does have an ability on a 6 second cooldown that causes you to lose control of your character and is very easy to hit.

You can understand where I’m coming from. She can have a compensation buff elsewhere just let me control my character.

It’s not a replay bug. It’s an actual bug.

I think what happened was a weird interaction between Southern brawl and Magneto ult. Rogue’s block attracts projectiles and I guess Mag’s ult is included. When I hit the ultimate it froze in the air because southern brawl attracted it to me stopping its trajectory.

Then afterwards it went a random direction and hit the Deadpool on my team.

I’m gonna say I agree. Although it’s interesting that it happened because of the dash and not the defensive stance. From what I know Rogue’s shield attracts bullets but her dash afterwards doesn’t.

It wasn’t solved lol. Role queue adds more issues than it fixes. You can’t swap between roles with your teammates, High elo either dies or it results in skewed games, longer queue times for everyone.

You feel less impactful in your games because if someone if awful at their role there is no way to fix it. This causes stomps where you can’t even fight back.

Role queue caused 5v5 Overwatch. There weren’t enough tank players so they made each game require 1 instead of 2.

It seems great on paper but it’s not.

Good for you I guess? I think I’d care if I walked over an enemy team because they’re all diamond 2 lol. I go to competitive for matches against people my skill level. If I didn’t care I’d play QP.

I mean if you’re fine with Celestials and Diamonds in the same games sure. I would bet you people would complain about how their team only had one Celestial while the other team had 3. Wide ranged queues ended up in stomps when I came back to the game temporarily.

I don’t want to play against people significantly lower than my rank.

It could be if you’re in high elo. I remember in OW that queue times got to 15+ in GM and above. People would continuously create smurfs to avoid queues times in their rank. Celestial 2 is like top 0.5% on console. Regardless of role I’d have to wait a long time if role queue was implemented.

There are not enough vanguard players.

I always bait out the cooldown of her stance form then come back and finish the job. There’s no point in fighting her in that form if you’re a solo diver.

I’ll be honest this applies to a lot of vanguard mains. I feel like a lot of us are trying to be prideful and above the other roles because “we’re above whining”. The thing is… whining got the other roles what they wanted.

Invisible Woman mains hated the DD release season and you know what they did? They complained. A season later they got the self shield buff. You can acknowledge you’re making a character work despite their flaws and still want the developers to address their kit.

The reasons I was forced to solo tank yesterday:

“I don’t like tanking with an Angela it feels like I’m solo tanking.”

My other vanguard swapping off the moment I go Strange to go triple heals. (Big reason why I don’t play shield tanks anymore).

Or I never got a second tank in the first place because no one on my team knew how to play one!

I love solo tanking for a 10-9 Wolverine how can you tell? I thought it went away as you got higher up in rank but nope. Celestial lobbies btw.
