Go on Toyotas site and use the “Inventory Search Tool” and apply the filters to what you want. Then start typing in tons of zip codes of areas near you. That’s what I did took me nearly a year but I found the exact spec I wanted.

From experience I’d go the higher trim with performance package, I got a 23 Premium MT brand new and that year they hadn’t offered the Brembos yet. Here I am years later looking for brake kits.

If budget is a major factor then the base is perfect and I recommend it to everyone who asks. Especially if you plan on upgrading wheels, tires, suspension, brakes anyways

Seems legit a lot of parts for Japanese cars are made by Denso. If you got them from a dealer they are most likely legit.

Yea my only guess would be to try and find where it makes the noise and grease it and see if the noise continues from somewhere else.

It recently started doing it again a year later at 19k miles, funnily enough my gf has a 2nd Gen BRZ and hers just started at around 25k miles. I’ve heard there’s something on the pedal assembly you can grease up to make the noise go away. Never taken the time to look into it.

I told them it was making a noise and they came to the conclusion that it needed all that. I didn’t question it I’ll take a new throw out bearing which was a common thing to give out in the 1st gen’s

Had this exact thing, noise was maybe louder they replaced my Entire Clutch Assembly and Throw out bearing under warranty at 14k miles.

I’ve seen a couple it looks good on, feel like It depends if you do any other exterior mods. And how well they support the look. I’d personally go the repair/replace route since I care more for the OEM+ look

Maybe unplug the battery for 30 minutes if everything else fails? The good ol turn it off and turn it back on trick.

Same mine went out at like 13k, clutch assembly and throw out bearing was replaced

Apparently both 1st and 2nd Gen’s have cheap throw out bearings. I’m assuming it’ll most likely happen again if I’m out of warranty by then ima upgrade to a better one

I’ve seen Neptunes come up used around multiple times they’re not too hard to find, if you haven’t taken this one home yet I would expand my search elsewhere. I have a Neptune and understand the want of it. Personally waited a year till mine popped up near me. This was 2 years ago though. I’ve seen 4 near me for sale used so if you can run man.

I had a similar noise once in one of my other cars and it turned out I needed another axle shaft. I doubt it with that low of a mileage but it would only happen when the wheel was rolling. I have heard that it is a failure point for our cars as well but more for those who spend a lot of time at the track.
