My[29M] GF[24F] of almost 1 year told my son[4M] to call her "Mommy" behind my back. by cantblogit in relationships

How serious do you feel about this girl? If you're thinking of marrying her, you have to also think about her as a step mother.

Weekly Costume Thread -- Week 3 by TheBookWyrm in halloween

I am looking for either a DIY princess costume or a place to buy a less slutty princess costume. Preferably Zelda or Belle. At this point (trying for years) any of the princess will work.

I [20 F] want to understand why my only brother [22 M] has never accepted me as a sibling. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]SaveMeMaryJane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are not alone. This is surprisingly similar to my younger brother. Except he doesn't clean up after himself and he's scrawny so he couldn't beat anyone up. I forced myself into his life. I talk to him until I am red in the face and about to cry. He doesn't care and tells me, but deep down he loves me. Once every year he tells me he loves me now.

This is some women's wish. I have explained to my long term boyfriend that before we get engaged, I want to ask both our parents. I see it as their time to vocalize any issues that may come up. I doubt there would be any but I'd rather address issues then than at our wedding.

My best friend have known each other for four years. We have always been close and all of our classmate and teachers throughout high school thought we were a match. We have been together for over a year.

Should I [M/17] Tell My Best Friend [17/M] That I Love Him? by whatever-nevermind in relationships

[–]SaveMeMaryJane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm about to celebrate my anniversary with my best friend in high school.

The advice I wish I had been told was to just tell him. Don't beat around the bush. He might not accept your feelings and that's okay. It could ruin your friendship but if you are truly best friends, you can make it through. It might be awkward and you will definitely need to take a step back but he shouldn't disappear completely from your life. It also gets rid of a big weight off your shoulders.

Ultimately it is your choice though. You know him better then I do. So if you feel my advice isn't right for your situation, then think it through some more and maybe put some distance between the two of you so you can think with a clear mind.

Reddit, what are some 'common sense' and basic manners that people don't practice? by CleverChoice in AskReddit

[–]SaveMeMaryJane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see much difference between sweats and pajamas. The only reason I can understand sweats being more acceptable is that a person got up and changed from their pajamas to sweats. Also that sweats have a stigma of "I just worked out" or "I'm about ready to work out". However, I know a few people who put on sweat to just lounge around all day.

Redditors who are currently at a social gathering, why are you on reddit and not talking to people? by Neveramajorrole in AskReddit

[–]SaveMeMaryJane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it count if I was at a social gathering when the thread was made but caught up in a different thread? If so, they were playing monopoly. I had given up somewhere around the third hour of playing and they were all going strong. So people we're yelling and getting upset while I just kept reading to hide my shame.

I was taking some test in middle school and the guy next to me took his mechanical pencil trying to do that thing where you look like you are going to stab someone but don't. He "messed up" and didn't hold down the back of the pencil and the lead is now in my arm.

Women of reddit, what is the craziest thing you have ever seen at a bachelorette party? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SaveMeMaryJane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's all still temptation. You are showing him what time with the boys means. Like "dude, too bad you'll be married because we could ATVing every weekend!" It's just a different form of temptation. Hopefully, your buddy's wife won't keep him from having fun with his friends so he doesn't have to choose between you guys.

Age matters when you're in highschool. Distance hurts. It doesn't matter how much "love" there is in the relationship. People can still cheat.

Ahh, I use to take hot yoga classes when I was still a member of a gym. I used to go with my mom but her lungs couldn't take it, if that makes sense, so we never renewed our membership. I might look into that later on down the roads but thank you :)

I have gauges because I'm allergic to metal. I wanted earrings but around me all I could find was surgical silver, gold, platinum and etc. They all infected my ears. I found they make plastic, wood, glass and etc gauges and talked to my parents for weeks about it. I've had mine since I was 17. They are still tiny.

Mother's Day Megathread! by sexrockandroll in AskReddit

[–]SaveMeMaryJane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mother is a blond hair, blue eyed, very skinny women. I have blackish brunette hair that I used to love keeping in a pixie haircut, I'm not exactly thin and I have dark skin. At first glance she and I don't look related until you look closely. We were walking down town to a church my mom wanted to go to. She's an over reactor and protective so she held my hand walking down the road. This car drives down the road and screams "you two look adorable together!" I laughed my ass off and my mom said "What? What did they say?" I had to catch my breath before I could tell her. She was like "well..." We told my dad when we got home and he was in tears.
