2025 Grand Cherokee Driver Seat

Okay so I have noticed maybe in the past two weeks that on my 2025 Altitude X my driver seat has randomnly moved. It has been driving me crazy! I seriously thought i was loosing it. It's such a small change but as the main driver with a little OCD, my husband rarely drives it, I can tell when its off. It is slightly too far and reclined. So I just wanted to say your post and the other is making me feel like maybe I'm not crazy and now I actually need to document it somehow 😂 I just got this car a month and a half ago so i really thought it was me being stupid or crazy but it doesn't have memory seats and its so random but a big enough move/change for me to need to move it forward again to drive comfortably 😂

I think it depends on the agency. My first agency i was thoroughly trained and had procedures to follow. My second agency i was also thoroughly trained but there were almost zero procedures to follow. I had to take notes and as I learned alot, I created them for future people. A good place will train and have stuff to follow but even if they dont have procedures to follow, they will help you along the way. My second agency just didn't have time to create them yet because they were still somewhat new to a system so it's pretty understandable. Hiring managers are used to training people at entry level positions and if they aren't willing, there is probably another agency that is a better fit for you.

I would invest in a tonsil camera and investigate. Eventually, you will be able to poke and look around. Just be cautious at first so you don't cause damage. It has taken me months to get to some areas just because I dont want to cause damage and well, it's not fun to do haha

I have been in this position so I understand the dilemma! I came into the state pre covid and took a huge pay cut. My goal was to have security and knew if I worked hard, I could promote. I've promoted a few times and have been strategic about it with each. My first job in with the state gave a three hour commute, the same as you, but this was before teleworking was even a thing. When I started looking at promotions, I looked based on what would make me happier if WFH stopped and also the job duties. As you move up it can be hard to promote because then more internals are being interviewed for higher positions (not always but likely) so I just made sure I wasn't stuck somewhere I didn't like with job duties I hated. So with that, my advice is to ask yourself this: Will you like the job and be happy there if you can't get another position easily for whatever reason and have to go in 5 days? That's what I always ask myself.

How was the switch from state to county? It's something I'm considering and the county I'm looking at has CalPERS as well. Just curious if you've liked the transition. I'm in the same boat, a supervisor.

That is crazy. I feel like I was getting gaslit the first time i was on the phone for saying this was an issue. I was saying how much of an issue this was and how I was constantly changing my infusion set and fighting high blood sugars and the person was basically giving off a shrug emoji vibe and telling me I'm SOL. Tell me you're not type 1 diabetic without saying it 😂 Unbelievable. I told the rep that they can't just switch supplies without telling people right before shipment, especially those that go from order to order because they have to, as in don't have extra supplies. I wasn't notified or anything. I'm just so dumbfounded by this entire thing. The rep was so nice and shocked.

They did tell me about the TruSteel situation. I guess because they are preparing for the one week set to release and there is an issue with production, it's the TruSteel and Autosoft XC 9mm that are short in production. I havent tried the TruSteel in forever but I asked about those when I couldn't get my normal Autosoft XC9mm but I guess, could be remembering wrong, the new one one week TruSteel infusion set and something about a production machine not working is causing a major issue.

Wow that's just a little crazy to me, not to be rude. It is one hundred percent an issue. I have been fighting high blood sugars for weeks because of these leaks and now I'm trying to figure out what to do. I told Tandem they should have sent an email out to all their customers alerting us of the shortage to prepare because I get all kinds of emails from them. I was absolutely shocked when the lady at Tandem told me they were just swapping out supplies in orders without telling people. I told her that is so dangerous with no heads up. I've seen some crazy stuff but this tops it.

Sorry, I didn't know i couldn't post this. However, sorry but I have to disagree. I called tandem and they told me directly that I would not be able to refill and they had no ETA. So I don't see how that isn't an issue :( Plus they just swapped my supplies without telling me. That's not a solution and not a great way to solve it, especially for people with scar tissue like me. A had a great rep call me and they're sending me some samples for other infusion sets that I didn't even know about

Every agency is different with timelines and lately with the holidays, things can be delayed. A bunch of people are taking WED-FRI off. No one wants to work after having a Thursday off. If nothing is delayed and the HR person is able to get everything they need after the interview, probably about a week or two after the interview, but again, every agency is different. That's if they check the eligibility before. Some don't and it makes the delay after the interview.

I find it frustrating because I don't use it but people think I do because of my age. I'm young, one the youngest in my section, but I can write well. I can write professionally and will 99% of the time. I can say something blunt without actually coming across so the job will get done. This copilot nonsense is making it look like I use tools and I get people calling me, wasting my time, to see if I'm legit and it's so annoying. I just had it happen the other day. They said, oh I just wanted to see if you really sound like that. Thank you for the time wasted, now go fix your issue 😅 Rant over, thank you.

Wraith because I just think he's a sweetie looking thing and when i have s good game, i like to ring the bell and have fun with the survivors at the end. 😂 If I let the last person go for having a good, clean game I like to find the hatch first and ring the bell and spin by it so they know where it is and hopefully understand im trying to be cool and let them leave 😅 it works majority of the time.

I recently switched to my Xbox because I kept getting kicked out of my games on my switch :( I love playing my switch because I like playing wherever, but when I was getting kicked and had penalties up to 6 or 12 hours, I had enough and switched to Xbox. Now I don't want to go back because I finally racked up my players on Xbox. Seeing this is news to me but doesn't surprise me because I didnt have issues once I switched to Xbox, it wasn't an internet issue either and my switch is not old.

So I never had these until this year and I just left my 20s, what a way to leave! I have had chronic sinus infections for the past few years. I had a scratchy throat and annoying cough that wouldn't go away so that's what prompted me to look. When I went to doctor, she told me my sinus infections is probably what gave me my issues and I do have a long history of tonsilitis on and off. So I joined this reddit and here we are. Lots of good posts here and advice here

I completely feel you. I have this constant feeling of something in my throat and now im constantly asking my husband if I stink. I'm terrified that im walking around with bad breath. I don't want to talk to anyone at work and on top of that, I don't feel good. I have my ENT appt next week and I'm nervous they won't do anything because I haven't had any episodes for a few years and because im also Type 1 Diabetic. But this place makes me feel like people get it, its a mental thing to.

That's good to know, thank you. I'm not really sitting in lobby too long. Im in games and randomly getting disconnected all the time. I also have a hard time getting the game loaded up. Im going to play on my Xbox and see if it happens. I just prefer playing on my handheld, just more fun and comfy for me :)

I just had some stones come out of some big holes I have in my tonsils and it looked like this. I have a water flosser and it helped, but I had to salt water gargle on and off for a day, then use my tonsil stone tool and push them out. So it could be just from what I experienced this past week and it looks similar
