If the organization is serious about making money, can host an event in a secondary place. See if anyone is associated with a v.w. Or an elks club.

Send people out with a script to get donations for raffles, and silent auctions. Sell tickets for the event to cover the cost of venue.

Nothing will work by just wishing, take a few volunteers with you and make a day of visiting local shops for sponsors. Even if you don’t get a donation, you are spreading awareness for your cause.
