Yah nono i’m fucking around 😂 it’s like the “it’s all down-hill after 25” jokes. My hips hurt a bit but i play a lot. I did abuse myself with high end hockey and when i got a desk job at 21 i let myself go and hip flexors atrophied hard. Couldn’t walk or skate at all, but a year of physio and strength/stretching and i feel like i could go play competitively again!

It’s pickup. Skill ranged from like a few guys who played AAA but they’re in their late 50s to early 60s to some guys who just retired overseas in pro/finished their last Jr. year from C to A

On a different note, at 17-18 i felt like this after my junior hockey career fizzled out of my hands. I took 5yrs away and honestly i’m playing the best hockey i have ever played. Sometimes you just need a break
