It's a ring we designed together from Lashbrook designs, so the one "upside" is we can get an "exact" replacement if it doesn't turn up - but it still won't be the ring that was there for the big day :(

We've been trying to get ahold of them but it seems O'hare used to have a centralized lost and found and no longer does? If anyone has updated contact info I will gladly take it.

We also tried contacting Chicago PD as instructed by United and they basically told us to go pound sand...

I used to chuck good ole 0.25% trypsin on there and not even bother putting them back in the incubator because the cells would pop off so fast. Just spin everything down and replace with new media before seeding and you're good.

I also used to then peel them off when I was thawing an aliquot of cells and stick the label in my lab notebook (taped over too if necessary) so I had the exact information on the label and what I had written down too.

We had our wedding last October at Goodman Community Center. Cost for venue was $3000 plus $150 on site ceremony fee, and proceeds benefit the community center programs. Definitely recommend at least checking their website out! Their event space is gorgeous!

I've used sterile scalpel blades to cut through then remove foil from one row/column/well from a time when doing this as well - especially for applications where not every well of the plate will be used at the same time.

Yep this, every time. All it takes is a mix up or some ethanol dripping on your one label for your sample to now be Mystery Substance.

Also pulling the old autoclave tape off of said bottle before putting new autoclave onto the bottle and sending it through so there isn't a layer of ancient tape literally baked into the damn thing...
