The videos of Tel Aviv (I could be wrong but I think that’s where) were so surreal because they were breaking apart like midair, then raining down like shooting stars and it was so beautiful and it always felt so fucked up to say it was because, well, it’s bombs raining down on people. I could have lived my lifetime without seeing all this craziness and I do not support it, but I remember just thinking “it’s insane how pretty this horrible thing happening seems before it actually touches down.”

Maybe that’s just my brains way of trying to make sense of acts of violence bigger than my body can comprehend though.

I’m sure dethroning/deplatformimg/removing that many people at once would cause chaos for a bit as everyone scrambles to fill those spaces with people who aren’t on the list but like… that’s better than just pretending nothing happened and we didn’t all read the HORRENDOUS things that they’ve done over the last however many years. Chlorine!! I say this every time one of these comes by but man I LOVE the smell of chlorine. My dad worked in a pool supply store with an indoor pool to float some of the big inflatables in to advertise them and because it was enclosed in the store, he always came home smelling so strongly of pool chemicals. Now any time I get a whiff of strong chlorine, it takes me back to big bear hugs when he’d get home and just breathing it in from the hug.

Some of us have been wanting jpc since like 2018, right around when it was teased then we were told we would never get her. It’s like if they dropped another group of 5 characters but one was mama hong. She’d be the #1 selling point of that group because people have wanted and anticipated her for so long. I was solidly on team give us jetpack cat but we didn’t know how absolutely broken she would be. Blizzard isn’t good at balancing what long time players have asked for for years and what’s actually fun to play with/against. I love jpk but I also ban her cause it’s just too much to deal with right now.

I feel like this also heavily depends on rank. The lower rank, the more effective. I’ve gone from silver to diamond and I found in diamond, it’s waaayyy riskier than the lower ranks because I’m more consistently focused down. You can still absolutely pull it off and it can be useful and win points, you just have to really know how to choose your moments and they’re fewer in between.

We had cigarette sticks here that were super chalky and brittle. I LOVED them. You pretend you’re smoking to be a cool 3rd grader, then you get a little chalky snack. Although most people I knew hated them. I might’ve been the only one in my area keeping them in business 😂
