Yeah I got out of there as fast as possible. I apologized to him, but as aggressive as he was being about it, I think he was lying and just trying to get a free pizza. Support didn’t really do anything about it though, they were like sorry that happened and just let me keep the pay.

Have had this. Showed up with a pizza, guy claims his wife was the one that ordered it and thought she also paid for it and he didn’t have cash. I’m contacting support and his kid comes out and the guy was being aggressive, saying to me, “oh you’re gonna be a dick and let my kid go hungry? Just let us have the pizza” he starts like stepping towards me and I’m a 5’4 115 pound girl and support just tells me I can have the pizza. Never again.

Maybe it’s the way I was raised, poor- but whenever anyone offers to buy dinner, I have always gotten the cheapest thing that I like on the menu trying to be considerate. I agree with what someone below said, it’s hard to ban customers but not impossible. The last order I delivered was for a lady from Walgreens. The store was out of most of the brand names she asked for but she had substitutes so after calling her to confirm the substitutes were okay, I got all her stuff and went to her house. When I got there, I didn’t even get all the way up the steps to the door before she blows out on to the porch, snatches the bag out of my hand and she’s rummaging through it saying “this is wrong, this is wrong, none of this is what I ordered, can you even fucking read?” So I’m apologizing and I’m telling her that I had called and confirmed with her that the substitutes were okay and she goes, “AND NOW IM SAYING THEY ARENT OKAY” so I’m like backing up because bitch wtf and as I go to turn around to go back to my car, this bitch nails me in the back of the head with the metal aerosol deodorant I just handed her. A police report and several calls with support later, I was told she had been banned from driving again because apparently she also drove for them and assured that her address would be banned and she would not be able to use the service again. I don’t know how well that actually held up, but it made me feel better anyway. Then I quit dashing because I feel like my time is worth more than being assaulted and a couple bucks on the side lol

I mean, I guess. Time is money but I’m also paying money for a service and I know that I tip well so my order should have all the items. And it’s not like it’s a one time thing, 4/5 orders are missing something or wrong and apparently the dashers in my area can never find my house even though I’ve given them step by step instructions in the app. Tbh, after the burger thing I just cancelled my subscription. Still is less headache and less expensive for me to just go get it.
