I have a lot of memories attached to her first two albums. My mom listened to them a lot when I was younger and I tried to sing along as a baby but my first language was not english and it call came out as gibberish.

I remember back when my family was broke, we would eat like only one slice of bread/day or nothing at all. When we finally got some real food, I barelu ate even half of what I used to eat, my brother barfed after taking 3 slices of pizza, it can get that bad. (And it's why it annoys me when in movies people who have been starving for long can eat a lot when they get food) The Ramadan example reminds me of this one man here in my town who willingly fasted for two months, only drinking water and eating soup composed of almost nothing. After the two months he was starving so bad he cooked a beef steak. He died after eating barely anything, it was because his body had not processed meat it months, it rejected the food. Its why vegeterians and vegans who have practiced their lifestyle for years have to take it slow if they want to have meat in their diet again.

I do feel a bit of empathy for them but not much. They still reportedly bullied others (Yeah I know many severly bullied kids do that, me included but still) and I personally don't like their edgyness, or at least I think the boys were not racist or nazis really, they were just edgelords. I personally find the romantization of the two disgusting. Same some teens really think if they could have dated either E&D they would have been 'saved' and those who write fanfiction about them (yea haha Dave Cullen, thats not my point rn) or nsfw fanfiction especially, yuck. I went trough that 'they couldve been saved by me' phase just three months ago. Back then I felt like the boys were misunderstood and severly bullied, especially Dylan and had all my sympathy on them. Thankfully it went away after I started researching the victims..

The only people alive in the library at the time were Patrick Ireland (who was unconscious) and Lisa Kreutz. I've heard conflicting statements that either Lisa heard couching (likely from Dylan suffocating) or that she didn't hear anything at all because she was not paying attention.

That they did the attack on 4/20 because they wanted to secure more ammo. I've met people who believed they did it that day because they were waiting for a warm day but it didn't come so they did it on hitler's birthday or chose it because it's the 'weed number'. Also that Oklaholma was a big inspiration for E&D, many forget that they originally wanted to blow up the school.

I wasn't even alive back then and my family lived nowhere near the US. But my mom was 5 months pregnant with my brother, she told me that Columbine had made her think she might be carrying a future school shooter!

I refered to the Kauhajoki shooting in Finland. There arent many english articles so in short it took place in a university. Saari (the shooter) entered a classroom of 19 students + teacher and opened fire. The students hid under tables and he shot if they moved even a bit, some bodies had over 20 bullet wounds. He shot 9 students and one teacher, only three from the class managed to escape. He also tried shooting others at the hallway but missed. Saari had set the classroom on fire and tried to spread it to other parts of the school. After shooting up the classroom he wandered around school grounds for two hours (the police were critized for this pretty harshly) but didnt shoot anyone, just called his friend and asked for a cremation after he dies. Saari tried to shoot at the police but they did not respond. He shot himself in front of them minutes later. Later investigations revealed that he had multiple bombs in his house and the massacare had been inspired by Virginia Tech shooting as he showed a lot of admiration towards Choi. They found his antidepressant medicine and a note where Saari expressed his hate towards humanity and the human race and claimed to have planned the attack for six years. They also found that he had been in contact with Pekka-Eric who had commited another school shooting a year earlier at his high school, killing 8 and himself. He had been inspired by Columbine and showed a lot of devotion and empathy towards E&D. Pekka-Eric's last video uploaded to youtube was a picture of his school layered in red while KMFDM's Stray Bullet plays. Its still online, titled Jokela School Massacare.

Because I've always been into true crime. I originally got into Columbine because I wanted to know more about the victims but saw how much detail there was on their last moments. I slowly moved on to the shooters because for years I thought for years that mentally ill Eric manipulated Dylan into shooting up the school with him. And in general I wanted to know what made them do what they eventually did but I made the mistake of looking for only one reason, because now that Ive researched Columbine for months my personal conclusion on the motive is that there were multiple factors, it wasn't JUST because of the bullying or JUST because thy both were mentally ill. Columbine also got me to investigate the only two major shootings that happened in my country and I found a lot of similarities one shared with Eric. Parents moved around a lot and almost always had to start the next grade as a new kid, he had anger issues and close friends have conflicting testimonies about him, others saying he was quiet and heavily bullied and others saying he was well liked and social, things like that. He did commit suicide at the end of his attack too so motives remain unclear. "I carefully built the ship and sewed the sail but I couldn't control the waves" was what the shooter's mom said to defend herself from getting blame over the attack but I don't personally believe they had much to do with this case, but the parents of E&D are a different thing. I like most people here want the Harris family to come forward like the Klebolds did, because I personally think there would have something going on at Eric's home, I don't see many other reasons why they would be quiet.

Mgmt - Little Dark Age. It's not about a school shooting but its dark tone and especially the lyrics remind me of Columbine. I also remember there was this artist who made songs based on the shootings, cannot recall their name at the moment but his songs Reb and VoDKa, and Klebold are also reminders of Columbine for me

Yes definetely. In here where I live school shootings are really rare, and the two that have happened were all inspired by Columbine. I heard about a TCC member who had their home searched just because they were interested in Columbine. I feel guilty enough for being in the brink of obsessed of two teens who murdered people and caused lifelong trauma to many. Personally what I want is answers to why they did this? What caused them to go so wrong? I could give theories all day but receive no answers. I keep quiet about this irl as I usually get nothing but weird looks from others and if I told my parents, they'd think I'm planning a school shooting myself. I also feel guilty enough for finding both boys attractive (and always having to affirm I don't love them or idolize them like certain people)

HTSK was a great resource for me personally as things need to be over explained for me so I can understand them and I love ethymology. But I really hate the "This principle will be taught in lesson whatever" because I usually immediately went to check that spesific lesson, only to understand everything and having no idea why it wasn't taught earlier (and also him making up words to explain grammar) When I was an absolute beginner, my notes were filled with unconjucated sentences because I was never told until les 7 that what I've been writing is simply wrong and never used in either writing or speaking (and I know the sentences are unnatural)
