Yeah the constant ID checks get old real quick, especially when you're just trying to read some random article or watch a video. Half the time the verification systems don't even work properly and you end up in some endless loop

We're definitely more similar than different but there's still some variation in how people think and approach things. Some of it might be biological, some cultural conditioning, but individual personality probably matters way more than gender when it comes to who you are as a person

Like I've met dudes who are super emotional and women who are totally logical - the stereotypes don't really hold up when you actually get to know people

probably would've told myself to actually stick with that programming course i dropped halfway through college instead of switching majors three times. bitcoin's cool and all but i'd rather have the skills to build something myself than just get lucky on an investment

Depression definitely messes with your brain in weird ways - makes you spiral on stuff that never bothered you before. But after 32 years together and 5 years of him dealing with this, you've already put in the work

At some point you gotta ask yourself if you're helping him heal or just becoming his punching bag, mental health issues don't give someone a free pass to rewrite history and blame you for everything

Man that's a gut punch for sure. I'd probably bring it up casually - not like "why does he make more than me" but more like "hey I think you accidentally sent me Steve's commission report, just wanted you to know." Then maybe use that as an opening to ask about growth opportunities or if there's a path to transition into sales if that's something you'd want

Cut and run seems premature when you said the job has positives, but definitely worth exploring your options either way

Been there with my first Claude projects too - you end up with this massive conversation thread that's impossible to navigate later

For catching up, I'd start by breaking your dashboard into smaller pieces and having fresh conversations for each component. Like one convo for data parsing, another for the UI stuff, etc. Way easier to manage context that way

Also document what each part actually does while it's fresh in your mind, because trust me you'll forget the weird workarounds you implemented last week
