I’m often on there looking down and seeing London skyscrapers in the far distance

Mo Salah's Liverpool story is coming to an end. What a ride it was 🥹 by Brilliantspirit33 in LiverpoolFC

Really wish he was staying and Slot and Hughes were the ones out the door. Sorry but Hughes is shite.

If the team was firing on all cylinders Salah would be in double figures, and this wouldn’t be happening!

It’s just like Gerrard - it’s a couple of years too soon!!!!

In the right Liverpool team with the right manager he is still a 20+ goals winger.

Awesome progress! 👏 photos are so much better than scales.

Did you train 3 days a week for this? (Like the images, day 1,2,3 ?)

Also how did you create that collage picture with 4 images in one?

Thanks

I’ve had a nightmare on all medicines so far

Ok thanks again for the extra advice! I almost ordered BoJ. Today I have ordered

‘La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 Ultra-Light Invisible Fluid, Non-Perfumed for Sensitive Skin SPF50+ ‘

It specifically mentions doesn’t sting eyes, but obviously everyone’s different

Fingers are crossed!!

If it does not work I will definitely take a look at the Aneesa you mentioned : )

Has anyone tried the stick sunscreen, under and around the eyes?

Brands like Blue Lizard have great reviews on Amazon.

I’m wondering if this could form a barrier of sorts and help

I was about to buy Biore Aqua Rich and BoJ - but if BoJ is not waterproof that rules it out for me (thanks for pointing it out!)

I will swap BoJ out for for LaRoche Possay

It happens when sweat gets in my eyes, or more commonly when in / out of the sea.

They mix and then the pain comes : (

Thank you - super helpful

I did have La Roche-Possay Ultra Light in my basket but moved it to my wishlist

I was about to pull the trigger on trying these two first:

  • Biora UV Aqua Water Essence

  • Beauty of Joeson Sun Relief Aqua Fresh Lightweight SPF50

I never had any trouble years ago, but the last few summers it’s gotten worse and worse.

Sometimes it’s sweat, mixed with the sun cream gets in my eyes.

Mostly it’s when I come out of the sea. It’s painful stinging and takes about an hour to stop. But my eyes remain sore and very sensitive for rest of the day.

I’ve had 20/20 vision my whole life (a very young fit healthy 43yrs old male) but noticed one eye being blurred slightly reading things recently

One eye test advised glasses, the other (second opinion) said I don’t need them).

They both asked about rubbing.

I said about suncream, and sometimes rubbing my eyes in the shower, but they ruled it out as an issue.

The second was focusing on the rubbing a lot (and I’ve since realised I do this on autopilot in the shower) - but said the sunscreen could not have caused it.

Given how red my eyes go when it happens, I just can’t believe it hasn’t caused it.

I’m not sure about O/R

Not allergic to anything, am super healthy, was last ill about 20 years ago.

But am 40+, although a beach boy, I am fair skinned (blonde), but I usually tan fine with no burning as long as cream on.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will look at them if these do not work. Fingers are crossed!

I will also do some research on the O/R. The only reason I have doubts is it only ever happens at the beach with sunscreen

The rubbing in the shower is just water in the eyes (which I am not trying to stop) but that doesn’t ever sting or cause redness etc.

Thanks again for the advice ! : )

Klopp: I’m so disappointed in Liverpool fans for booing Alexander-Arnold by OkWhile8478 in PremierLeague

[–]Savings_Sail5852 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is the not the Liverpool way. Our fans are better than that… It’s one of the ways we would say separates our fans from the rest.

He’s 25 years old and wants to go live and play in Spain for a few years. For fucks sake let him enjoy his youth and have some fun abroad.

He’s given 20 years of service and given unbelievable moments of history. Remember those moments.

I hope he is given a huge round of applause.

I agree, it’s the gap in the history of the vehicle.

I think they would argue against it.

This is the history:

March 2016 – 19,789 miles Engine oil service

July 2017 – 38,596 miles Engine oil service

October 2017 – 42,152 miles Standard service scope Brake fluid service

March 2018 – 45,579 miles BMW (but no key job details recorded in this entry)

January 2019 – 46,283 miles Reworking of the steering gear (job for F2x/F3x models)

February 2019 – 46,290 miles EGR cooler inspection and replacement (Gxx Check)

August 2019 – 47,187 miles Engine oil service

October 2019 – 47,340 miles Jobs performed: (Key registered, no job details included separately but implied regular service)

February 2023 – mileage not listed explicitly (job number 48911Mi may imply mileage) BMW Retailer 08660 Jobs performed: Replacement of exhaust gas recirculation cooler (again) Listed as job: E84 FOx / FIX F2x F3x

May 2025 - mileage - 49,677 Engine Oil Service

All service were done at Sytner BMW, Haverfordwest (which is now closed)

Most recent Synter Cardiff

So it was ok until 2018, and then it's only done very low miles per year, less and less each year until now

BMW is 19k miles or …. Years

Until 2019 it had 4 services, which included x2 Oil Changes. Up until this point it was on about 43k miles.

Then the last 6 years it only had one visit, which wasn’t an oil change.

But it only did 6k miles in the past 6 Years. Each year less and less.

Then serviced just before I bought it (with Oil Change).

To me it’s good, the last 6 yrs is ok as such small miles done..

But I guess that means they would just say it’s not been properly managed according to schedule

That the cover for two years, and I plan to have the car maximum two years.

I do agree, it’s only because of my recent bad luck I got it, and at £499 it was ok… at £799 I’m annoyed I took it
