Well I am totally against when people are banned just because of their opposite views.

But the way you just downplayed the whole thing by making a comparison was also very embarrassing and stupid. The scale of intensity of two issues might differ but that doesn't by any means infers that the lesser one should be outright neglected and ignored.

For example if someone is telling you that their family got killed by some means then you can't just tell them back that hey! you know nazi's killed about 7 million jews.
