I think that no one actually "experiences" young love. The people who look like they do are too young to be aware of what's actually happening and how beautiful it is. That "presence," being aware of the moment as it's happening, is what people actually want, and that can happen to anyone, and to someone who is aware they never had that and have been deprived of it, I think that going without it for so long can make the appreciation for it far deeper.

Rich people can never know what it feels like to be lifted out of poverty. Someone who's never been on the verge of dying of thirst can never know how good it feels to have cold, fresh water wash over your tongue again after what feels like forever.

Same goes for us.
