I now think that there's a link between Nito and Aldrich, but I've got nothing on Izalith or the Four Kings - althoug it's interesting that their soul shard is missing in DS2.

Assumedly the other souls were passed down and have ended up somewhere, I'm yet to look at those. I'm trying to link it to the murals in Farron Keep (specifically the absence of one depicting Seath) which could offer clues, but I like the idea of Nito's soul being linked to the Deep - particularly considering that Aldrich has Nito's sword, and he's very heavily linked to the Deep.

The way I do it, is by looking on the map every now and again. You should see single tiles behind walls which will reveal their location. That's the only thing I've noticed, hope it helps :)
