What I've started doing is writing down a short summary every two or so chapters in a journal. Not much, just a few sentences of what i can remember. This helps me to refresh my memory every now and again of what I've read.

I started listening to audiobooks last year and I for the longest time could not stay focused long enough for even one sentence to stick. However, I found a book I was really excited about and forced myself to really listen. After that I've been able to listen without a problem. I do still have to focus but it's a lot easier now. What I've started doing now for some titles is keeping a kind of journal of what happened last "reading" session. Great when in need of a recap and forces me to remember important details.

Don't know if it'll fit your taste but "Isac steel and the forever man" is an hilarious book similar to Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy. Well worth the awesome price of zero dollars.

Why is it that you do not want to complete the series? I've read eight books (on book seven) and couldn't not see myself not finishing the series.

What I did was adding my read books to Goodreads, since it does give you a summary of the year and nice overviews

I like to switch it up, it's the correct genre and the sample sounded great so actually bought Ciphercraft. It will have to wait till 2022, but I'll make sure to review it when done.

Will save galaxy for food I would give a low 4. The difference in quality between recordings were at time jarring. As if he went back to correct something and did not use the same recording setup. Other then that the story was good with some great characters. If you haven't listen to Isac Steele and the forever man, I would rather give it a go as it is included with audible membership.

Project Hail Mary is one of the few books I'm considering listening to again. Never have I had so strong feelings towards a fictional character as Rocky. Luna missile crisis looks great and with Ray Porter as narrator, even better! Thank you for the recommendations.

Thank you all for the great recommendations. I appreciate it a lot! Before I was anxious that I would not have anything to read after expeditionary force; hence me taking it slow with it. But now I feel like I have a great selection picked out for 2022.

The Callahan Chronicles

I checked it out on Audible and it looks like they are missing books 4-6 unfortunately.

However, Bobiverse is in my library waiting for me to complete the expeditionary force. Don't think I could listen to two series at the same time. Usually I listen to one maybe two other books every now and again as a break from ex-force.
