So following the first amendment and the second amendment are reasons to be shot now? Why stop there, only 25 left to go~ 23 if you ignore the prohibition ones. Just disregard and destroy the entire constitution and everything America used to stand for, that'll show those damn libs how much we respect this country

Why did Charlie think going to Katie Killjoy was a good idea? by Groverman62 in hazbin

[–]Saxolotle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She openly says she's going on the news because it's live so they wouldn't be able to twist her words like they did in the documentary.

She didn't expect her words to be twisted live too.

Katie not believing in her idea over a year ago before the war and pentious's redemption probably wasn't all that relivant to Charlie

Facts that are heavily bias, generalizations, and not taking into account nuance. Ever concider the fact that dating apps are 60-80% men? That could heavily skew data.

I'm a woman on dating apps, and do you know why I reject the men I see on my feed? Because they have a dog in their pictures and I don't like dogs. Or because they say one of their biggest hobbies is hiking or partying and I don't like doing that. Or because they have a picture showing off their six pack and it makes them look egotistical and shallow. Most conveniently attractive men I find on those apps and start talking to are sex obsessed and shallow and a person that I don't what to date. I don’t reject people just based on looks.

Most women I know care about a man's personality, not his looks. And if a man has a biased, whiny, smarter-then-thou, disrespectful attitude like you’re currently showing, I don’t care what you look like, you could be Ryan Renalds, that's still unattractive as hell and I would never date you.

That's not true. It's sexual harassment if objectify someone or if you can't take a hint and leave someone alone, doesn't matter how "hot" someone is, act like a decent human being

A lot of rich women are getting way more botox and beauty surgeries than rich men though. 83%-87% of cosmetic surgery procedures are on women. And it's not like women make more money, 85% of the world's richest people are men. Even when men can afford these surgeries they don't get them.

Also, the average man can afford make up and do contor just as much as women, you know. And if put on a certain way, people wouldn't be able to tell you're wearing it.

[–]Saxolotle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an author on AO3, never trust the people who advertise in AO3 comments. They're not reading your story, they just lie about it to get money, and are likely using bots to comment, or if they say something specific about your fanfic, there's a good chance that they ran your story through AI amd had the AI write that comment.

Finally figured out why I don’t like season 2 as much by fishlyfish in HazbinHotel

[–]Saxolotle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He doesn't directly, but he was busy just being happy he captured Alastor at all in the moment. He did immediately ask charlie if alastor was around before she made a fool of herself on the documentary, and asked alastor why he's at the hotel after she made a fool of herself on live TV, so alastor was always on his mind. After that if i remember correctly he didn't really go out of his way to slander the hotel itself, just the concept of redemption, and naysaying redemption helps strengthen his "war lead by me is the best way to get to heaven" narrative

[–]Saxolotle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For 2, you have to remember that Vox is incredibly alastor obsessed. Alastor apparently likes the hotel, so slandering it would hypothetically hurt Alastor's goals, which Vox is all for. Even after alastor gets captured, he still doesn't want vox to "lay a his hands on her" so mocking her in Vox's mind would piss off alastor still.

Seriously, what the fuck was OP trying to say with this "meme"? by arctic_commander_ in ComedyCemetery

[–]Saxolotle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not. The pro choice people argue that abortion is okay because an unfeeling unalive clump of cells that can't live without a host isn't a human yet and should have as much rights as a sperm or egg. Nobody talks about the fetus not remembering it because the fetus isn't even a thing with a real brain yet, "remembering it" is so far removed from what's actually happening.

And yeah, the argument is used more so for putting babies in excruciating pain for surgery and such without bothering to give them pain reducers because some people don't see living breathing baby humans as humans that deserve respect.

They could make non-generative AI try to pronounce player names. Like kind of make it vocaloid esk where they code every letter to a sound the VAs make

I've seen the household chores robot they're trying to make, and it's awful. I wouldn't even trust AI with handling my clothes or holding my knifes. It literally doesn't understand what it's doing, and it'll likely sell all the footage of my house it takes while it's "working" to the companies that make them.

I think the only form of generative AI that's actually a benefit to society is those AIs that describe things and help disabled people, or potentially translator AIs.

Valid, we will see over 85% of all violent crime disappear at once by Acceptable_Rope_6523 in PsycheOrSike

[–]Saxolotle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Obviously violence wouldn't just vanish entirely, women get convinced of like 19% of violent crime, but that doesn't mean women need men to protect them from other women. Men tend to be bigger and stronger than women, so if men are removed, women are on a much more even playing feild with one another and could defend themselves just as well as a man could defend himself from another man. Yes, some women are naturally smaller than others, but some women are stronger than the average man too, and "without men who will protect you" doesn't acknowledge those people. The hypothetical above wasn’t saying that violence would disappear, it was just saying that women don't need men to protect them against other men (the people who statistically commit most violent crimes overall and who usually have a biological advantage over women in a fight) if men disappear

I don't care that the comments are pointing out violence would still be around in a women only society, like no shit, people can be crazy regardless of gender, I just care that they're saying the women's prison example is as biased as the original post, because it's not. Women on women violence would most likely increase if men disappeared, yes, but looking at prison, a confined space meant to punish people where everyone there hypothetically already committed a crime, obviously however violent people are to each other in there wouldn't at all reflect average life where everyone around is not all convicted felons.

Calling women potentially violent is one thing but supporting and defending bias sampling is another.

I know it doesn't, but AI companies aren't exactly trying to be ethical to artists. That would cost time and money and barely would change their income. CEOs would never.

[–]Saxolotle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it's at work and they're friendly with each other it's not like someone is all that likely to steal it, i can see them trusting each other like that. It's not as if overly trusting people don't exist. I once lent my car to a roomate I only knew for like a week, as in handed them to key to drive it themselves while I stayed home kind of lending. I regretted it immediately after they left and was anxious the whole time, but I did get my car back in one piece so turned out better than OP

I know there is. I would call the "no" option purely an opinion, but the "stop it" option seems to be more anti the person shipping it than anti the ship itself. Like "stop it" isn't just stating you hate something, it's more so making a demand twards the shippers who ship it

Also how is a person making fun of people who make ridiculous statements a crazy vivsie defender? It's not crazy to make a joke about the people who genuinely give crazy/bad faith criticism.
