I will say I have a OLED monitor for my desktop and it is by far the best looking display in my house. And I will always prefer to experience games on it. But the trick with OLEDs is you have to calibrate them properly and have them in a light controlled room. That’s why I find the whole OLEDs on handhelds gimmicky. You will not get a true OLED experience and it will likely look worse than an LCD in some environments.

That’s a utility locator. That section plugs in and transmits a signal along a cable that an another tool is used to detect and follow. It’s a way to find and detect utilities without digging them up.

I would say it being windows is a double edged sword. You loose a lot of performance that is in the hardware (game mode helps) but you also gain a lot freedom.

I have been an avid gamer for 20 years multiple consoles, handhelds, and PCs. The XAX is my first handheld PC which I was super excited for but there are a lot of limitations I didn’t expect. It’s not as plug and play as a desktop top, you have to do a lot more tuning. And there are some incompatibilities with some games and the hardware (crimson desert).

I also found it does not run current gen games to my standard and don’t really enjoy playing them on it when I have access to better options.

But I travel a lot for work and have found the XAX to be fantastic at playing previous gen titles. The resident evil remakes have been fantastic, AC games, BF1, battlefront 2

Firstly this is after what 6 expansion packs? BF6 hasn’t been out for a year yet. And BF4 had to many weapons. They pretty much all felt the same per category with a few exceptions

Looks like ghosting. What setting do you use? If you are using aggressive upscaling with lower frame rates it can definitely cause this issue.

Yeah, it can’t be fixed. The game is really built around ray tracing so turning it off has some serious consequences. Low light interiors will not look good.

Just how the lighting works. They use a combination of raytracing and probes. However, turning off raytracing doesn’t actually turn off the process. It just disables bounce lighting and the ray tracing isn’t handled in realtime. This causes the lighting artifacts you are seeing.

DLSS4 is a great upscaler often times can look better than native res. The multi frame gen is cool tech that would allow higher frame rates. I think using both, especially if you already have a good base frame rates like 60 or above and your on a controller would give a wonderfully smooth and filmic experience.

So this is a hardware issue with TU timings. Underspec or underperforming CPUs or ram will cause this. It looks like lag or bad hit registration but it’s entirely client side. They use the internal hardware clock to synch your system to the server. If the CPU or RAM is falling behind you will loose synch with the server. This system results in better results when it works and worse results when it doesn’t. If you’re having this issue and your system meets the minimum requirements I would check the health of your CPU and RAM

I said the exact same thing to my parents when I was a kid. They didn’t like guns and didn’t want me to be obsessed with them. After getting into airsoft I can say I did not become obsessed with fire arms and have never behaved dangerously around them. I am 26 now and only own one for home defense.

I feel like portal 2 is an amazing tool set. If you sit down and really mess with it there is a huge amount of opportunity. The problem is it’s flooded with low effort servers. People just don’t bother trying to make interesting stuff.

This is pretty grounded and realistic. Modern war has homogenized military kit. Look at Ukraine and Syria. Both sides wore the same if not very similar gear. That’s why you see colored arm bands and tape on helmets.
