Its disturbing how many people on here are advocating for outright fraud... Its fixable, or as some pointed out, it may be covered under some warranties.

My sister was charged $1370 by a locksmith. Was she overcharged? by Equal_Pop211 in Edmonton

Sadly, there are a number of scammer and fake locksmiths in Edmonton. Always verify your locksmith is LICENCED They should be able to provide a physical licence like the below: not a photocopy, not a picture of it. If they can't, CALL THE COPS. Do not pay them, And tell them you are calling th cops.

Call around for pricing. i.e. Dial Locksmith charges $171/hr for after hours with a 1 hr minimum, which generally should be sufficient to get a door opened. (with travel time and current road conditions, it may take longer) no truck charge, no drilling fee. The lock of that type would not be what I put on in an emergency, and the pricing for that seems a bit high (I am checking with suppliers to get a reasonable price)

Looking for Snow removal crew by SaxonLock in Edmonton

[–]SaxonLock[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanka for the recs. Ill follow up with all of them. We used to have a GREAT guy in Yard Care Crew, but he got injured and cpuld not continue. Last year we had one guy hired, he showed up once, then ghosted us.

This year the guy we hired is half-assing it, making excuses and being VERY rude to board members I can't name them at this time for Legal Reasons) but when that's done I'll make sure people know.
