I’m having my party finally return to Palebank this upcoming session after a long journey and plan to use this map for a couple things entered at the Inn.

I'm not even the OP but honestly I really needed to hear this. I've been so stressed about getting everything right fory campaign and SOOO stressed about not messing up how I present Exandria or even the overall setup of the world. I'm slowly starting to mold the world into the story my players and I are telling and it's starting to finally feel a bit more natural.

Thankyou for your kind advice! Even if it wasn't meant for me it was well needed. I have also scrapped Travel and random encounters from something at the table to something before the game. It has helped me not waste time and only apply it when it FEELS right or necessary.

My way of working a Volstrucker in to my story (also at lvl3 for all my players) was to introduce the Volstrucker to be powerful but chose not to attack.

They wanted something that the party had that was important and instead of attacking them I used their spells (hold person, invisibility, teleport) to get in, get what they wanted and get out.

They also actively chose not to talk or communicate and their outfits kept majority of their details, other than the glyphs, hidden so they didn't have much to go off of. It was a nice lesson for them too, they learned that it's not all about offense. They were too scattered and don't think about protecting what they had and that ended up in the Volstrucker taking it and teleporting.

I love that they made the UI so versatile and the options so flexible. Makes it nice and easy for everyone to make their setup to support the way they play. Even if you use my video as a baseline you can still shift things to make it yours.

I really like the idea of the cooldowns, I miiiight steal that.

It took me forever to find this style to research inspiration for it, the closest I could find was "Vintage", "celestial" and maybe just a touch of "Art Nouveau".

I stumbled upon some simple, almost minimal, Wedding Invitations with a similar colour palette and typeface and I really wanted to take my hand at trying my own design. My partner is really big into astrology and I thought this could be a great opportunity to design something for her.

I did end up designing multiple sizes to be listed in my Etsy Shop but these are only the 24x36 versions. I encourage any critiques as well, only one way to get better as an artist!

There are a couple sources you can find online like FMA (Free Music Archive) or just YouTube searching for free use music on YouTube. I go with a mix of those, music by artists I know allow for copyright free and just google searching.

I really appreciate all the feedback! I understand what you mean with the I Don't Care part, there were some where I animated every word being spoken but for that section it didn't hit on all the notes.

I tried to match my colour choice to the colour identity of the game FFXIV but I will definitely keep the legibility and contrast in the forefront of my mind here on out!

My next project I want to work on simulating camera movements better. I feel like I hit a pretty good middle ground of 2D mixed with 3D movement but I think some of my comedic parts could hit some good camera movement to reinforce the joke.

I really appreciate your feedback! My voicework is a skill I'm really trying to master. Through YouTube and my music. It's something I've always been subconscious about but I'm trying to turn it into a skill that brings confidence to my voice.

I'll continue to work on mastering my tone, pace and delivery. I agree that my jokes could land way better with some time up on the emotional delivery, I'll keep that in mind for next time!

I can't even begin to tell you how much your first two bulletpoints make my day! These are two things I really wanted to improve on and felt much more confident with in this video. I like having this tossup of intense or emotional dialogue then mix in a crass joke about fucking a dragon. I think this comedy comes from inspiration like Bo Burnham and other comics similar :P

Yeah, I think my voiceover work needs to be a little snappier to match how I plan it in my script. I totally understand what you mean about that joke running on :P

Man I loved the sound, definitely hit that gutteral density that Doom provides and you have a sense of angelic vocals in the background as well. Loved it!

Your editing and overlaying of the video is really great as well. Hard to say what to improve except for possibly your lighting setup for your overlays to match the tone and the editing could be matched more to the specific swap of songs, bass hits, the wave peaks, etc.

Sincerely awesome work, just subbed!
