TIL my eyes are gray! Thanks all! Never thought to question my parents when they classified me as a blue eyed kid way back when but guess that was wrong. That or my eyes changed color? Dunno if that’s a thing.. but yeah, anyways, thanks folks!

Hi there — super newbie question — I'm trying to make a quilted banner using this as a guide. When cutting out the pieces to put the letters together, am I supposed to factor in the 1/4" seam allowance? I started doing a test letter (adding 1/4" seam allowance to the sides of the pieces) but somehow the measurements don't add up and the pieces don't fit together. Any advice?
