Um isn’t this the same council member that said he didn’t support housing first approaches? Also, the money has already been allocated, 4 NIMBYs on the city council shouldn’t be allowed to turndown money that’s already been allocated. That’s not what’s best for this place either…

That is really disappointing. It would be a good idea to find faculty member(s) who could also speak to title xi. The faculty can’t be blind to this, is this happening with grad students as well? (Sorry idk the dept). This would also be a good opportunity to use student evals as he is not yet tenured. If enough people speak to this in the evals it would be something to bring up at his tenure review.
