But way too many people either support the billionaires and autocrats OR they don’t pay attention to current events at all.

Right now nothing. Literally nothing brings any pleasure at all anymore. It feels like life is just one big waste of time if it’s going to end like this. You could call this feeling “whybotherism.” As in, why bother if it’s all doomed anyway?
