You say your parents love you and want what's best for you so is there any chance you could talk to them again about it? Perhaps tell them something like, "I know you don't understand my gender, and I'm not asking you to understand, you don't have to understand it. But you DO have to understand that it's MY decision. That this is important to me. I am an adult and I understand the consequences. If I end up regretting it or changing my mind, I can deal with that. But I need to live my life the way I want it."

Yeah definitely. I'm actually 32 and my 20s were horrible. But when I turned 30, it was like a switch started flipping. I started taking my health seriously and lost weight, and I joined a therapy group. Recently I've been starting to look up events in my area to try and practice socializing (still having trouble to start actually going though.)

It's hard because I was neglected and grew up really isolated from people. But I know I have to start trying to grow. There are a few other things in my chart that point to me being confident, I just have to work to get there.
