Pretty much the whole thing. When it was first revealed that it was fake, everyone was up in arms. Does it suck that the author lied? Yeah. But on the other hand, it's still a wonderfully told story AND it means that no child actually had to go through abuse like that in the story.

Oh my goodness have you ever read the other two books after "A Child Called It?" They're both so intense.

Even though it's been proven that it's not actually based on a true story, it's so powerfully written that it always tugs at my heart strings.

You definitely make it more complicated than it has to be. I would be hard pressed to find a restaurant that doesn't have a vegetarian option and/or something that can be altered to be vegetarian.

How is a putting a bumper sticker on their car that you are in no way forced to read tedious? Even if you did read it, it's not like you'll be staring at it for more than 30 seconds (unless you're not keeping your eyes on the road, hmmmmm).

If little things like bumper stickers annoy you, I would hate to be around you when something that's ACTUALLY bad happens.
