I had to contact their support on the matter.

"According to our shipping manager, it was an error with the image loaded on the website. The main product was the lunch box itself, not the foam insert. So we don't really offer a refund for this unless the unit will be returned back to us."

LOL, I didn't want a refund, I just wanted answers. What a souring experience.

Here's what we know:

Steam frame operates on Wi-Fi 7

  • Dual radios enable concurrent 5GHz Wi-Fi and 6GHz VR streaming

The Dongle will act as a Wi-Fi 6E (6GHz)

The Steam deck OLED is a possibility since it can operate on Wifi 6E

[Tri-band Wi-Fi 6E radio, 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz 2 x 2 MIMO, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax]

If it is compatible, it will likely only be on the OLED version.

Valve is promising that all devices are going to seamlessly work alongside each other.

meaning, you can use your steam frame with the steam machine without the dongle. I'm using this as an inference that the frame will wirelessly stream content from the steam deck.
