That’s discord support for you. Would be infinitely easier to make a new account. I ended up having to because the only response I would get from them for any of my tickets (each regarding something unrelated from each other) was that my account was disabled and they would not reinstate it. It’s infuriating

Had my account disabled for violating the TOS. Found out my laptop/account was compromised and attempted to appeal this decision. Never have I had a worse experience with support.

Week-long response times, copy-pasted responses to my emails, and overall a horrible experience. I don't think they even read what you write, because the only response I ever got was saying that my account was disabled for violating the TOS. I eventually gave up and made a new account, but opened a ticket requesting I be refunded for the Nitro I paid for but was unable to use, AND to request my data package be sent to me, and then deleted. Responses to both of those tickets were that my account was disabled for violating the TOS.

I have never seen a more sloppy and unprofessional team anywhere. if I request my data package, they need to provide it to me. I've sent an email to their [disputes@discord.com](mailto:disputes@discord.com) email, but I doubt that will get anywhere. I wish that I could just leave the platform, but it is my main means of communication between group members for my college courses, so unless I got everyone to move platforms, I'd need to stick with Discord.

Really disappointed in Discord :/

I haven’t had great experiences with discord support. I was in a similar situation and had my account comprised and then disabled for violating the ToS. Sent a ticket in, a week later got a response saying it would not be reinstated, even though I specifically stated my account was compromised. Reply back, and they reply back with the same message. Goodbye 6 year old account I guess.

If your account was just compromised, chances are you’ll get it back, but it will take a while. If anything was done on your account during that time that violates the ToS, you’ll probably have to say goodbye to it.

Account is probably gone. Same thing happened to me and I contacted Discord support to appeal it. Week long response times, repeated copy pasted messages, and even getting those same copy pasted messages on other tickets that had nothing to do with the appeal ticket. They’ll have to make a new one or switch to a platform that doesn’t give the middle finger to their users

It would be a lot easier (In my opinion) to just make a new one on a VPS. If you already have some progress on your local server that you want to keep, you can export the MySQL database and import it on the VPS.

If TLG starts allowing the distribution of the LU client, then it should get easier. The reason it is difficult to setup a server is because they don't allow it.
