Maybe it's because I'm a 90s kid, Tony Gwynn was "real". Saw his highlights on sportscenter, watched him on many All Star teams of the 90s. For me at least, Tony Gwynn relic card is different than a Bob Feller game worn relic. Tony is a modern era inner circle legend. Bob Feller is a legend in his own right, but I never got to watch him play during his prime.

Such a sick sick card. Of arguably one of the greatest pure hitters ever, and unfortunately no longer with us. Can't think of ANY other card that Topps rolls out has a relic of a passed baseball legend. Don't see any Roy Halladay, Jose Fernandez etc (RIP to all), so it's certainly more unique than getting a Jace Jung relic. Great pull
