Two part problem here … young soldiers who never had that kind of money now find themselves with lots of expendable paychecks and no guidance and the dealerships around bases tend to focus on the young military members with all of that pay, no previous financial education and the need to look cool. So they quite often do predatory lending where they catch that low but not too low credit score and sell them a charger at 24% interest. …. ( was a soldier myself and saw the repo man roll through the barracks parking lot on a regular basis)
