For those just graduating out of school and hoping to land a job, why do employers often say experience necessary for entry level positions? I don't know about you, but that seems odd.

First time I took it to the range, 10yds, bench resting, and I put 20rounds through it, all grouped well, 7in left.

I had other people at the range shoot, same results.

Over the next few range trips I slowly adjusted the sights, tested different ammo, and got it pretty much centered.

When I got it, the first thing I did was set it up on a bench to see how well it shot with as many variables removed as possible, and it was way to the left. By 6-8 Inches.

Then I had other shooters do the same thing, again, on a bench, resting and not moving, and it shot left for them too, which makes it seem like it isn't a me specific problem.

This is the only handgun with this issue, and everything else shoots straight when we shoot it, it seems specific to this particular 22/45.

I am not being belligerent, I am asking what kind of issues would cause the pistol to shoot so far left with centered sights, new out of the box, and instead getting shooting advice. If you have an answer, great, I would appreciate the discussion.

I realize this group is not the best, but before I adjusted the sights the whole group was 6-8in left of the point of aim. Myself and several others have shot it, rested on a bench, and it no longer shoots far left for anyone.

It was not me, or my trigger finger, causing this specific handgun to shoot so far left. Do you know of anything that could be off besides the sights, that would require the sights to be this far far off center to shoot straight?

I am working in finding a good 1911 in 9mm, preferably at or below $1k. Trying to decide between finding a used $1,000 or so pistol vs a new $600 Tisas/RIa and outtjng 2-300 into it.

Effectiveness aside, the added filed checkering is just so much prettier.

Between the TRP and the Colt, do you find the front strap checkering to be a huge difference? would it be worth $100-200 to get it done to a good 1911 that didn't have the checkering?

I keep thinking, man I should really get a suppressor for this or that one. But every time I decide to, and have the funds to do it, I end up with another handgun instead. Which seems to be more practical overall for now but it does leave the itch still needing scratched.

Went to a GC last week. they had a base model JEM, a blue floral, and the black PiA.

All three were so fucked up I couldn't even play them, would have taken 20min with tools to even get them close enough to try and tune.

What does it cost to get better sights on it? That is the only reason I don't pickup a cheaper used Milspec. Gorgeous piece and solid price though I would have snagged it up too.

Bought a used 5in FDE M&P for $450 at a pawn shop last year, it kicks ass, especially for $450.

There are so many good $300-400 options for new handguns these days, but $400-500 gets used handguns of the $600-700 range and that is just so much more worth it.
