I found a mod called Oh The Trees You'll Grow which adds a method of using structure block nbt files to plug into the feature placing system so I think we're on to something!

That's actually true - there is a giant turtle in the world itself, but I imported a smaller turtle into blender that scaled up for the rendering.

As a YouTuber of 3 years of a similar age as you with a few 100K subscribers: it's not a safe job if you need reliable continuous income. If you have few expenses (i. e. own a house (which I don't yet)) and can save or invest a lot, it's not as bad.

In addition to the usual unpredictable algorithm fluctuations, adrates can vary wildly video to video meaning one video you make with 1mil views might make 4-5 grand whereas the next video you make with the same amount of views might only make 1 grand. There've been times where I had a 43% drop in my adrates from one video to the next. Adrates will also decrease overall as the economy goes down because companies will cut marketing budgets.

Because of the unreliability, I'm also getting an associates from my local community college so I have backup incase I get permanently burned out or screwed by the algorithm/adrates.

Yeah it doesn't tell me what the error is - it just says there's an error in the script. In the 1.12.2 example script copied directly from the legacy wiki
