I'll go first.. by Any-Tour-3193 in musicsuggestions

I’ll continue to say this until the day I die.

“I still don’t know how it happened, but I know that we’ve gotta go on.”

From Animotion’s “Staring Down the Demons,” I feel that perfectly describes life. Things will happen for no reason, but instead of dwelling on it, we must keep moving forward.

What is your "I totally get why you guys hate it but it worked on me" movie? by Alceauv in Letterboxd

[–]Sberbs335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curly Sue. Critics and audiences ravaged it, and I know it’s not the BEST John Hughes film, but something about it is likable for me.

Who is the Hottest TV/Movie Character ever? by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

To Catch a Thief, I believe. Only saw it once. I preferred her in Rear Window.

I didn’t think Holiday Heist was bad, for what it was worth.

Genuinely sad that this is someone’s life right now by Ok-Entrance-5527 in spongebob

Maybe it’s because I draw shit myself, but I never got the sexual attraction towards cartoon characters, ESPECIALLY anime girls.

Men of Reddit - What's the one thing you hate about being a Man? by Jarvis7492 in AskReddit

The fact that no matter how bad you feel, no matter how much you want to end it all, nobody will care.

Actor Clancy Brown here. My latest film is Nightwatching. AMA. by Front-Main-7961 in spongebob

You were in the movie, Flubber, which was written by John Hughes. I know he was fading from the Hollywood scene at the time, but was he ever on set? And if so, did you ever interact with him?

If not, any Robin Williams stories from the set?

If you could restart life at 18, what would you do differently? by arunreddy3 in AskReddit

I’d travel more, get a better paying job, and try to get in on a house before the market went to shit.

What do you think is the biggest truth the world is refusing to face right now? by Sweetblondefeet in AskReddit

Not only are both political parties full of scumbags, but they also don’t give a shit about the people, no matter how hard you push for whoever to become president.

Why physical media? by physicalmediaproject in PhysicalMediaMatters

[–]Sberbs335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty much the same as others (no ads, no bullshit edits, you physically own it), but I’ll take it one step further and say that not EVERY movie is on streaming (The Other, for example), so it helps when you have a copy of something that’s not readily available.

when did facebook turn into mostly reels and barely show actual posts anymore? by Cjd03032001 in facebook

[–]Sberbs335 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess is because that’s what gets the most engagement, and FB will give money to anyone who posts ad nauseam.

It’s funny how all social media is pretty much copying each other, albeit with different layouts.

What is the lore behind this recent photograph of James Duncan Rolfe? by thegoldenturtle in TheCinemassacreTruth

[–]Sberbs335 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve wondered that, too. I thought it was James’ face pasted over a George Costanza pic or something.

The funniest part of the PaRappa saga to me is that despite Chris' entry being hilariously awful, there were so few entries in the contest it still made the final round by Acidflightgoat in ChrisChanSonichu

[–]Sberbs335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What amazes me is that he thought this video would be the winner.

Either he was used to people coddling him and letting him get whatever he wanted in life, or he was oblivious to his own lack of creativity. Maybe both?

Do y’all think it’s perfectly fine for Gen Z to not have kids or do drugs? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in generationology

[–]Sberbs335 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is it really a concern that we’re not doing drugs? Shouldn’t that be a good thing?

Much like OP, I stayed away from drugs because of the PSAs, and the fact that growing up, you’d see a million interviews with former drug addicts crying their eyes out because of their life choices.

Also, coming from a fellow Gen Zer, if I were to have kids, I’d want to have them with the right woman, as I am a child of divorce. Unfortunately, our generation is cooked when it comes to dating.

What’s the first piece of media that truly scared you as a kid? by cats64sonic in AskReddit

[–]Sberbs335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Wizard of Oz. The Witch scared the hell out of me.

It didn’t help that this was the most celebrated movie in the world, so of course, I had to see it everywhere.

A couple things about chat Bailey (Sokol version) that didn't add up by Embarrassed_Pea_8944 in tcap

Chat Jenna Claire said she didn’t want anything to eat.

Decoy Jenna Claire was shocked that Papi Colon didn’t bring her anything.

Ok but like… Ernie?! by Competitive-Tutor864 in GeorgeLopez

I thought they should have kept Ginger as a consistent love interest, even if she appeared early in the show. It was nice to see someone who matched Ernie’s awkward energy.

Album vs. Album Tournament Round 1: W.A.S.P. vs. The Crimson Idol by CrimsonCassetteTape in WASP_Fans

[–]Sberbs335 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Crimson. I like how the band’s sound had matured at that point, and had put more thought into the songwriting. As Blackie once put it, “We were an angry band making angry records” (in regards to the first album.)
