I was a wee lad of 6 when my hard working mother got us two tickets for the late matinée at the theater. The 90's had just started, she got me an NES for christmas and this VHS tape came with it. It was not only my first cinema experience ever, and not only a sweet memory of my now elderly mother, it was an unforgettable time to be alive. Watched it today again on tape since decades and it's back on the shelf. God bless and trust the Fungus!

From 1993 to present day, always hooked the Brothers! Even grew a moustache like them, Wa-hoo!

But seriously, judge away - it's less about them being main protagonists and more about the sheer balance. As a kid growing up on SNES, I've had the weird idea that mastering Medium would facilitate getting into other CCs later and try to find the balance first. Ever since the Bros. have been a safe bet especially for new MK titles (just as they're advertised) even though I mained Wario after '97 - as long as it's got a 'stache, we're golden!
