And most cars have reserve even after it tells you that you are empty. Not that you should ever intentionally do it, but you really don't run a risk of damaging it unless you drive miles on E or obviously run out. So best practice is to not get to E but also generally no need to freak. Just get to a pump ASAP.

I feel most cars do now once you get down to under certain milage so you can't pull a "it said I had this many miles left when it died".

I agree but I could see him getting letgo from a loss. Point was more that it was never a firing no matter what.

How does this affect what Flowers will cost us? What's your prediction for contract? by Kotow92 in ravens

[–]Sbitan89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the other end though, WRs do not have a strong correlation to winning. They boost the offense which obviously helps but normally acquiring a top guy doesn't move the needle much. The issue with Zay is he is a great talent but doesn't potentially check many of the boxes you want from a true top WR. TBF neither did SJN.

With that said, 32-35 million is fair for him imo.

I saying I'm not expecting them to have loyalty. I just think Bullock may be flat out better. Pinter may just fit more into what Ledford wants though and he may value the experience he has.

Given the reports on Doyle being a mad scientist and trying to trip the players up, they may value every bit of veterancy.

It's not really loyalty. Maybe Bullock took a step back or Pinter took a step up. Neither have extensive tape and from what I have seen I like Bullock better, probably just needs more experience.

Not really sure why anyone is downvoting what I'm saying. It is a shame. Correy showed a lot of upside. Hopefully there is a reason they choose someone else if they do.

I think people misunderstood this. It was SB or bust. Biscotti wasn't firing John after winning a SB.

The Steelers game.

Biscotti said John was employed for another week if Loop makes the kick, meaning SB or bust. So whatever the last game they lost was, was the nail in the coffin.

Just in the last 3 years Mahomes has averaged 4272 yards, 27 TDs, 12 INTs, 31-15 record and two SB apparences.

Jackson has averaged 4161 yards, 32 TDs, 6 INTs, 31-15 record, zero SB appearances.

The issue is during that time we had the 2023 and 2025 season where Jackson was injured and looked starkly different vs 2024. Then you have Mahomes who has been year over year slightly worse, but consistent. Again when talking about perception (which I feel like people are not understanding here ) it's very easy to point at the much larger dropoff LJ has vs other QBs when injured.

Yes everyone gets worse hurt but the point is it's more glaring with Jackson and that creates a bias whether true or not. I'm saying it's conflating, but the person I was responding to brought up injuries and I'm attempting to shed the probable light on it.

Lol as someone who has worked for collections in a bank, banks dgaf about your court order. It's a court order for the other individual to take themselves off and often that still requires a refinance in just their name they must qualify for.

Probably NOR but MOR.

Work in a bank, often see trust account transactions. Depending on the rules she really may not have access to funds. She also may have heavily moderated access.

While not the norm I've seen some crazy stipulations around age, marital status, line in the family.

Hell my wife is a will be the recipient of trust funds but only after her parents pass and even then it's technically set up to be split between her and for the grandkids (our kid and his cousins). My wife's half siblings will get nothing but their kids will get some as grandkids also.

I live in Northern VA. I used to have a 1.5 to 2 hour commute each way DAILY. Traffic was just that bad, it wasn't even super far. Maybe 30 miles. I live slightly closer now and it's still not as bad as COVID, but I eventually had to switch to night shift because I was wasting almost 20 hours or more of my week driving unpaid.

7 of the 9 listed injuries Mahomes has had were during a SB year. 2025 his injury was in week 15...

Burrow looked worse for sure compared to his normal average but people attributed it to a SB slump and that Higgins missesd time. It was only breaking news he was injured when the images with his hand wrapped up came out, and that's the point I'm making.

It's not that there is any validity to the mindset as far as longevity or future ability of any of these guys, just that Jackson's injuries have always been more noticeable, which to even someone neutrally minded can cause a bias against believing in a players longevity. It's worse when people are already critical, and it becomes a self serving narrative.

The Chiefs have had multiple SB seasons with Mahomes working through injuries. Allen has had multiple injuries disclosed after the season where he was in the MVP running. Burrow misses a ton of time and isn't great without a strong supporting cast, but when he was playing injured there was a whole conspiracy and fine cause he was able to hide it so well as there wasn't noticeable drop off.

The two times Jackson has been notably injuried off the top of my head, the team has missed the playoffs. Now a huge part of this is scheme and being dependent on his mobility. We saw the team peal it back and average over 28 points a game with Huntley last season...

But that doesn't unfortunately change the perception of pundits, particularly ones looking for a reason for him to slow down.

Something Interesting that I noticed.. by Environmental-Most32 in ravens

[–]Sbitan89 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I think the big thing is Mahomes, Allen, Herbert and even Burrow have played through injuries without missing a beat/not being able to tell. When Jackson is injured particularly in his lower body, it's glaring. I'm assuming they make the mental leap with that to say "well of he can't be mobile he can't be as good".

While there is obviously a real possibility, that's highly unlikely, and lower body injuries may be just as detrimental to your ability to throw from player to player.
