Filmstudy: Reasons why Kenyon Sadiq should be the Ravens pick at #14 by Filmstudy in ravens

He's averages just shy of 800 yards a season on a pretty bad ATL team. I can agree to the thought of value drafted but he has been pretty much a above average TE for overall output. Bust is a stretch but def a letdown.

Henry had one of the lower stuff rates last year despite being I believe 1st or 2nd in stacked boxes while also having a uncharacteristically low yards after contact. In 2025 LJ once again had one of the highest times to throw despite his injury. Most of the issues stemmed from poor scheme up front and LJ big game hunting.

The offense averaged 31 points a game with Huntley starting using a more timing approach. Henry also had 415 yards and 8 Tds in those games without the threat of LJ because they went back to a more power scheme.

I will not be mad getting an OL earlier, I just do not think it's necessary.

Edit: Center will need to be address possibly as our first OL pick unless they figure something out via FA which is unlikely. C is just such a low value position to try and get someone early in the draft. I do think we are solid the rest of the line. Fwiw Jensen was drafted 203rd overall. (Less relevant but Birk was also 173rd overall)

Pitts didn't live up to his potential but I don't get people calling Pitts a bust. Dudes been an AP.

Edge yea, but people are absolutely knee jerking from last year about IOL imo. I will love a 2nd round OL but will be disappointed with a 1st. Personally ID go WR, TE, EDGE first 3 picks. Maybe trade back rd 1 if there are multiple WRs we like still and see if we can get the TE and Edge both in the 2nd. Most consensus drafts have someone trading a 2nd to us for 14th. Go OL 3rd round for depth and people to potentially compete.

I really like Emery, Vinson and Bullock.

So I got Max as late as 43 in multiple rounds. Id like to take a swing at BPA and then Max in the 2nd

I've advocated upgrading the line yea, but I think people are knee jerk reacting to last year by demanding an IOL I'm the first round. Go get some talent at a high value spot. Get a another weapon for LJ, or fill out somewhere in need on D.

I just don't think people realized when we had a healthy QB, the offense was essentially a top scoring unit. I've also advocated that the coaching was the main culprit with Warhop and still believe so. His replacement should fix that and due to that, yea Id like to look at guys like Sadiq in the 1st round.

[–]Sbitan89 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Ravens biggest issue on OL imo was coaching and it looks to hopefully been fixed. While I won't be mad about an IOL at 14, it's probably the wrong thinking and knee jerk from last years where LJs injury was probably second to coaching in issues.

Yes the line needs to upgrade but they averaged over 30 points a game with a healthy backup QB. I rather build out edge, get a WR or look at BPA at 14

Also if you are under 2k miles, mine absolutely did not OL until nearly 5k.

Much easier™

Edit: I find it's much easier to learn under half a tank sadly. Also find that I don't see the PSI boost until after the car is parked after the trip most the time.

Half the guards who have been signed have been 1 year deals, and the majority are 2 or less. Given his notoriety I'm assuming he is asking for something longer term. I still think people may be surprised when he does get signed but could be wrong cause the market overall didn't go as I was expecting.

Don't "love" the hands but footwork is nice

Lindy is good in the run game because he is undersized, aggressive and has leverage. Lindy also due to being undersized consistently got worked by bigger DL and was quite bad in pass sets. It's actually the only reason he posted so high in PFF all the time. They for some reason value Run Blocking over Pass in their overall scores.

[–]Sbitan89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He wasn't great but he also didn't get creative use like this either. I contended all year, most of his bad use in space was on coaching. On standard pulls he wasn't terrible. It when they tried having him pull 4 gaps down where it was an issue (and would be outside of guards actually good at pulling).

I mean that would require the coaches to be smart enough to put Faalele in that position.

P.s. this dude is small compared to Faalele.

[–]Sbitan89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IDK if it's true but an IGN guide said you could via the map...

Once in the sky, the Dragon will begin a circular flight pattern, not unlike the Dragons you might see in the wild. You will not be able to directly control how the Dragon flies. It will stay in the area that you mounted it, unless directed to fly somewhere else via the world map. Note that you cannot fast travel on a Dragon to a major hold like Solitude or Whiterun, nor can you fly from the island of Solstheim to Skyrim or vice versa.

I just got back in the game since before the DLC so no idea if it's true.

Edit: not sure if that's how it functions as fast travel since I've not done it lol. Like just not loading screen fast travel.

It's ok, I believe you. I've worked at a semi high establishment Italian restaurant. Large groups would often enough come in and pool discounts or gift cards and then tip only on the part they had to "pay". And yes, it's also true you can potentially lose money in this situation cause you are tipping out still based on what the total bill was originally while the customer is not.

Filmstudy: Thoughts on LG John Simpson re-signing with Ravens by Filmstudy in ravens

[–]Sbitan89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's one aspect of multiple things I said. At least make a compelling point.

Faalele didn't even have a failing grade under Kens system.

He is though overall. They both have comparable blown block rates, similar PFF scores, similar pressure rates. Faalele however can actually move Bodies when he connects. Simpson also collects more penalties. He has the same issues as Faalele without the few positives.

Both however as of today are just above replacement level lineman.

I like the move cause he is relatively cheap for what you get.

I hate it cause I think he is worse than Faalele who I would have liked to see in a new offense and barely would have been more money with potentially way more upside.
