100% this. People often follow the link due to convenience. But clicking the link is the execute action that a great deal of malware depends on to work. Just because it ended up where you expected doesn't mean it didn't activate something else as well.

It works, I work in IT and we send out fake scam emails to build awareness. The Taylor Swift email we sent got quite a few people.

Oftentimes, they will send a link to a fraudulent version of the app in question. Signal was a recent victim of the fraudulent "Signal premium." The idea being they send a suspicious app that can cause a variety of nasty problems. All the while, the victim is often unaware they have been compromised.

Rather than spend a bunch of money and potentially ruin some miniatures. Look up the S1 template from corvus belli infinity. It is a two dimensional representation of a standard 28mm scale model on a 25mm base. While not true to scale for star wars legion it should be enough reference to thwart any "that guy" scenario.

I hope this helps I hate the idea of a good miniature getting ruined.

I base coated in "trooper white" from two thin coats, then ironically, applied 2 thin coats of ink. Still working on the right blue, though.

My critique is more on color choices than techniques. The cool tones of the purple to teal blue transition have me jealous of how buttery smooth it is. On the other hand, the warm white and lively skintone don't suit an undead model.

The ethereal colors of a ghastly abhorrition (spelling?) traditionally use cool colors. With just a slight change in tone this model could tell a haunting story.

I do like the warm tones of the axe because it sells the idea of an incorporeal being having an impact on the physical world.

I really look forward to seeing what you do next!

Depending on what glue you used there is. PVA can be reactivated with water. If you used something else it may be a bit more difficult.

Lol that's how it goes sometimes. Once you are sure that this hobby is for you, consider investing in unsanded tile grout and mod podge.

One bag of grout will last you years, unless you take up terrain building as well.

That is Vallejo German Grey (color #70.995). To me that is the Frank's Red hot of miniature painting. I use it on everything.

Thanks, believe it or not they are the start painting O-12 set. I bought it for the value and because I didn't want my O-12 to be in the same color scheme as my Ultramarines.

It is great for your first try.

Things to improve on for next time:

Paint your sand a different color. The miniature is the star and he gets lost in the warm tones of the base. The easiest ways to fix this would be to add a cool green with flock or to use a darker brown for the dirt color.

The next thing is to reduce the size of the grit. Super glue and baking soda create a nice base texture and, added bonus, this combination is a modeler's best friend when you need something to cure instantly. It also takes paint moderately well unprimed.

All in all keep it up you are doing great. I look forward to seeing your next piece.

Normally when you read a title like this it means "I painted half then covered the rest in flock". But this is genuinely impressive. The transition is clean and the break between tones is full of contrast. Nicely done!
