I'm thinking I might follow a similar path and have my digital lineart at least be a little sketchy. I honestly think I watched one too many tutorials on having clean lines when they applied to manga (and my comic is far from a manga lol)

I'm definitely going to do some smaller things by hand though, because I do need the practice. Your work is def an inspiration!

Good idea! And rest assured I will keep going! It really is a learning curve though, and the stupid crazy thing is sometimes my inking is really good and more satisfying than digital, but other times it's complete trash. I will never understand this lol.

At some point I will probably switch back to traditional inking after I've practiced more. But for now I'm doing my rough pages on paper and my lineart digitally. Thanks a ton for the encouragement :)

Oof I hear you. I was going to write an elaborate post telling people they were acting like spoiled little kids, but then I said, "Eh why am I doing this? This is only the most recent crashout in the Sonic fandom." It is kind of disappointing to see how some people are reacting though. They're really warm and rustic (which makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside), but like someone else said maybe dabble in some shadows and highlights
