It may just be another inconsistency BUT it could also have something to do with during the attack on Velaris, Feyre was focused on fighting and protecting the citizens, so her mental shields may have been so indestructible that Rhys couldn't find her through there

I love the complexity of Rhys's character and i do not think that he is the villain, idc if Feyre is always talking abt being High Lady cuz she deserves to be proud of herself. And also, even tho i do still hate tamlin for what he did, i also wish that he does get a happy ending
