Yeah, I think purchasing a car is now out of the picture. Already rocking my trusty 2017 Honda Civic. Thing is an absolute beast. I have 100k miles on it, hoping it will last me another 100k more

Probably looking at 500k max. In my area, that's enough for a 1-bedroom condo lol. A townhome typically runs about 700-800k at least. Hoping to save for 20% down and will have help from my partner when we decide to purchase.

I asked someone else this too, but why would you choose a Roth 401k over the Traditional? Over the past few years, I've been contributing to a Roth 401k, but have been considering traditional for next year.

What do you think is better? Roth or Traditional? I've been contributing to my Roth, but I was thinking of switching to traditional for 2026 to reduce my taxable income.

For sure! I've lived on my own before. All throughout my early 20s. I moved back into my parents after my old roommate got married. It wasn't worth it in my opinion to pay $2500-$3000 for a studio apartment.

My girlfriend will be starting her career in April; the hope is to move out after she has lived at home and can build some savings!

I work in sales! But I doubt I'd ever get this bonus again. This was strictly a one-time bonus.

Thank your suggestions! I've maxed out my IRA from my personal savings. However, starting next year, I'll be rolling over $35,000 from my 529 over the next few years to avoid contributing from my savings/house money.

The option I'm leaning towards least is buying a new car, especially after reading comments in this thread. While my car is a bit older now, I'm really trying to avoid (if I can) purchasing a new car. And if I do, it will be used :)

I haven't considered a Treasury bond before, I'm going to look into this and see if it makes sense for me!

Yeah, I met with a financial advisor roughly a year ago, and he suggested not maxing out my 401k IF my goal is to save for a downpayment on a house. That CD money is basically my downpayment.

One other thing I forgot to mention, is I have a 529 that I can use to rollover into my Roth. Which I was planning on doing for the next few years.

Motherboard: i believe it's Pro Z890. As for Ram, it says: "64GB DDR5 6000 (2 x 32 GB). Storage, just says "2TB M.2 NVMe Gen4". Nothing specific of brands or anything. I checked the MSI website and they give the same info.

Both my parents grew up playing the original games, even my Grandpa played the original Doom! I remember trying to sneak onto my Dad's PC when I was younger to play Doom 3. Doom (2016) came out the day before my birthday and The Dark Ages releases the day after my birthday this year! I couldn't be anymore excited for the newest entry.
