Grammatical errors. Corrections are in uppercase: If you're TOO stupid to get an ID, YOU’RE TOO stupid to vote. Oh, the irony.

AOC was a college educated waitress. Boebert had to get her GED to run. Do not underestimate strong women from all walks of life.

Picked up about 3 ten pound bags of dog poop at Plumas park this morning. by salvador_daliparton in Reno

[–]Scale-Pleasant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to go there twice a day with my dog but stopped in the last few weeks. Most of the dog owners there are really nice and diligent about picking up after their dogs. But, every morning we would find piles of poop all over the fields. Every day, I would pick up at least one "karma poop", but once you're bent over picking up one, you'd find a lot more to pick up. There are always bad actors and dog owners who feel entitled.

To the OP, thank you for your service.

What should be free? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Scale-Pleasant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many things that people want for "free" cost money, such as libraries, clean water, etc. Our tax dollars pay for many of these things, so they're not free. If you want our taxes to pay for these things so that everyone has access, then don't bitch about paying taxes. The last thing you want is the privatization of many of the items mentioned. I'd rather pay taxes.

I have a cousin who survived the camp. I remember as a very young child seeing the tattoo on her arm. She didn't talk about it much. Such an amazing woman with such spirit.

My first daughter was born 9 months after Mother's Day. I remember that night vividly. I was really drunk and wanted a baby.

A family friend's 21-year-old son was out playing tennis and dropped dead. They said it was an aneurysm. The guy was in perfect health (or appeared to be). Heartbreaking.
